After watering her plants and getting a bag ready, Cate joins Loki in the living room of her apartment. He was sitting there patiently and quietly, reading a book that was on the coffee table. Cate notices him and sits down next to him with a gentle smile.
"That's one of my favorite poetry book. How do you like it?" Loki glances up to meet her hazel eyes.
"It isn't as bad as I had expected. For a midgardian book, that is. I am sure you would enjoy asgardian poetry princess." Cate nodded her head in agreement with Loki.
"Maybe some day I'll get the chance to read some. I've got everything I need if you want to get going Loki?" He was about to say something when his pocket started vibrating. He reached inside his pant pocket and brought his phone to his ear. Cate looked at him and when she whispered to ask who it was, he mouthed out 'Tony' as he listened. Cate leaned back and stretched her arms up in the air as Loki finished his phone call. He hung up the phone, gets up and looks to Cate.
"Tony's got something he needs to go over with the team. We must go."
"Oh, alright. Well I've got everything I needed." She said to him as she heads to the door. Loki grabs her hand and she turns to face him as a slight blush appears on her cheeks.
"I will teleport us. It will be quicker. But I have to hold you to bring you with me. May I?" He said confidently.
"Yes of course." She replied as she put her bag across her back. Loki gets closer to her. Being a few inches away from each other, Loki slowly wraps his arms around Cate's waist. He looks at her and she begins to breathe a little faster then usual and her eyes turn violet much to her dismay. Loki furrows his eyebrows at her.
"Are you alright princess."
"Um yes. Just nervous, first time teleporter here." She nervously laughs trying to hide the fact that she was feeling a little uneasy being so close to him. He gives her a soft smile.
"Just hold on tight. Don't be afraid." Cate looked into Loki's ocean colored eyes and within a cloud of green smoke, the two of them teleported out of her apartment.

"Recon mission? What for exactly?" Asked Steve sitting at the table in the Stark tower control room. It was a big circular room with dark grey walls, a long rectangle black table surrounded by black computer chairs. Monitors and cabinets all around and big white board on wheels. Natasha, Steve, Thor, Loki and Cate we're sitting around the table, when the door swings open to reveal two new faces.
"I got a hold of our other friends to come help us out with this. Cate, let me introduce you to--" Tony gets cut off when Cate suddenly stands up.
"Clint? Bucky? Oh my god!" She walks to them and hugs them. "How have you guys been?" Tony, Thor and Loki look at each other confused.
"How is it that you know everybody Cate? Seriously?" Tony asked. Steve laughs.
"Cate's helped all of us at some point. And we've all gone out drinking a couple time at this bar downtown."
Thor and Loki are still looking at each other confused. Bucky grabs Cate by her shoulder with the biggest smile on his face."I haven't seen you in ages! How you been? Wait, actually why are you here?" He said pulling her in for another hug. Loki, sitting at the table next to Thor, looks at the two of them hugging and gets annoyed but swallows down his emotions. Thor noticed his brother's eyes glued to Cate, he smiled and kept his observation to himself. Cate pulls away from Bucky.
"Well apparently I'm an avenger now. How weird is that?" Cate laughs and she turns to Clint. "How's your family Clint? I was wondering when you we're going to show up. Nat told me you we're taking a little vacation."
