Cate has been working from the early hours of the morning in the pediatric wing at the New York City General Hospital. There are still alot of damages, therefore many construction sights on all floor levels. that made he days alot longer and complicated to handle. But she did love a challenge and she managed to get all her patients to where they needed to be at all times. Thanks to the Avengers, no patient or staff were severely injured on that fateful night. No lives lost and that made her feel proud to call them her new friends. Friends she had purposely kind of ignored the past 4 days. And she did feel bad about it. She was actually glad to go see them as weird things have started happening to her. So she finalizes some paperwork by the nurse's station, her smartwatch vibrates to let her know her day is over. She signs off her forms and heads to the locker room to get change and keep her word to Loki. As she changes, she was thinking about the Avengers.

I have to apologize to them. I should have texted at least Natasha. Why am I always pushing people away? At least I think I made things right with Loki. Hopefully Nat won't be too mad. I'll buy her a drink.

She finished getting changed, grabbed her bag and headed out of the hospital towards the Stark tower. On her walk over she passed a liquor store and bought a bottle of tequila to have with Natasha and whoever else wanted some tonight.

Back at the compound, Tony and Bruce walk into the kitchen to have a break from the laboratory. Steve and Natasha are already there playing cards to pass the time. Thor and Peter are a few feet away, in the living room, playing mario kart on the 70inch screen. Banner has been in the lab trying to figure out what type of capabilities Cate could possibly have. He tells Tony he's worried for her since they haven't had any news of her.

"Anybody in here have any news on Cate yet?" Tony asks aloud hoping someone has an answer for him.

At that same moment, Loki, who had just gotten up from his late night, was walking into the kitchen when he heard Stark's question. Since he had an answer, he replied.

"The girl is alright. She was was overwhelmed by everything. But she shall be here anytime this afternoon. She gave her her word"
Thor, who heard his brothers words, paused the video game and turned his head to face him.

"You mean to tell me you have seen her brother? When? Why didn't you say so earlier?"

"I'm afraid I didn't say anything earlier brother because I have been sleeping. I noticed how bothered Captain and widow we're about the woman, so I went to see if she was alright." Loki said as he went to sit down next to his brother.

"Wait, you went to see her last night? At her place?" Steve asks suspiciously, looking at the dark haired God. Peter decided to join in on the conversation.

"That's good if she is alright. How nice of you to have gone to see her Mr.Loki." Everyone is looking at clueless Peter and then back to Loki. He rolls his eyes in disbelief knowing very well what the others were thinking.

"We simply talked. I remembered where she lived therefore I went to see if she was alright. She invited me inside her home and we talked. That is all." Loki defended himself.

"I swear to all your Gods, if you scared away that woman Loki, you'll regret it." Tony barked out at him. Widow and Steve, who were awfully quiet during the conversation, were simply glad she was on her way over.

"Perfect. If she'll allow it then I have a fee theories I'd like to test out with Cate in the lab once she gets here." Banner says as he looks to Tony.

"Just dont overwhelm her too much with all the testing Bruce. We don't want her disappearing again."

Natasha looks over to Loki and thanks him for going over there and talking to her friend. Steve nods approvingly in his direction as well. God of thunder then puts his remote down on the table in front of him and stands up. He looks over to Loki.
