Festival

Thor and Loki were in the kitchen waiting for Cate. As Loki starts the nespresso machine to make Cate's coffee, he turns to face Thor.

"So brother, where exactly are we going? You never did tell me."

"There is a festival or sorts in the park a couple of blocks from here. I thought we could go see what a midgardian carnival looks like. There is to be musical entertainment and feasts of all kinds." Thor told him enthusiastically. Loki rolled his eyes and protested.

"Seriously? We couldn't have gone somewhere more interesting? Like a museum or a library?" He asked. Thor made a face of confusion towards his brother.

"You and I have very different opinions concerning what is interesting and what isn't."

"I couldn't agree more, brother." Loki responded.

"Wait a minute! Did I just hear the two of you agree on something?" Cate laughed as she walked in the kitchen. Loki looked up from the coffee he was preparing for Cate, and his eyes devoured her from top to bottom. She was wearing a tight cropped navy tee shirt with a moon design on it. It showed just enough of her stomach to get excited. Her high waisted white boho skirt stopped halfway to her thighs and revealed beautiful lace nude sandals. Realizing he was undressing her with his eyes in front of his brother, he coughed and responded to Cate.

"Yes. We were agreeing on the fact that we don't have the same personalities he and I."

"Oh I totally agree, but you're both awesome." She said as she got closer to them.

"Lady Cate, you look perfect for our time out." Thor added as he gave her a high five. Cate walked over to Loki who was reaching out to her to hand her the travel mug.

"Thank you, Loki." She say as she takes the mug from his hand and lands a soft peck on his cheek. "You are my saviour." She joked as she sips from it.

"My brother is right, you are stunning, princess." Loki added as she gazed at her.

"Then let us go and enjoy the festival." Thor yelled out as he wrapped his arms around Cate and Loki's shoulders. Cate looked up to the tall blond God and a smile grew wide upon her lips.

"No way! Were going to the Governor's Ball!? Yay!" Thor gets all excited as she gets happy about it. "Loki, I'm sure you'll enjoy it as well. They play all kinds of music and the food trucks are amazing as well. I've gone the last 3 years but I had completely forgotten about it this year." Loki smiled seeing how thrilled she was.

"Alright, I trust your judgement, princess." The three Avengers then headed towards the elevator doors to leave the compound.

The brunette and the two Gods have arrived at the festival. There are food trucks of all kinds scattered across the park where the festival was installed. At the far back of the green scenery, was a big stage full of multi coloured lights, and balloons and confetti everywhere. The trees were decorated with strings of lanterns all around the park and there were a sea of people all over.

"I have to admit I wasn't expecting so many midgardians here today. I will go in search of dark ale. Would you two like some?" Thor asked as he looks to Cate and Loki.

"None for me thank you. I have train in a couple hours apparently." She pouted.

"I suppose I'll have one, brother." Loki said to Thor. He took a step closer to Cate. "There are way too many people here. Stay close so we don't lose you in the crowd." He looked to Cate and she smiled. Thor winked at Loki who rolled his eyes back at him.

"I will be right back. Stay by the tree here so I know where to find the two of you." As Thor walks away he gets surrounded by a group of girls who recognized him from the NY attack of 2012 and they ask him for autographs a few feet away from Cate and Loki. He saw that and leaned against the tree. Cate looked over to Loki and noticed that he seemed upset. When she turned to look in the direction of Loki's gaze, that's when she clicked. She turned her head back to Loki.
