5:00am in NYC, and Cate still couldn't sleep. Especially not after last night's scary movie. She knitted, painted, read, but now she was bored of being in her room so she decided she was going to cook breakfast for everyone. She gets up off her dresser and takes a few steps to her white dresser. She slipped on her favorite pair of jeans, put on a black tank top. She didn't like to have her back and shoulders exposed, so she covered them with a red, blue and grey 3/4 sleeve flannel blouse. She opened her door very slowly as to make no noise, and she snuck down the bedroom hall of the tower to the living room. Upon passing through the living room to get to the door that leads to the elevator or stairs, Cate notices Tony on the grey couch. He's heavily sleeping with a book in his hands and glasses halfway off his face. She sneakily walks to him, takes his glasses off and puts them on the table in front of him. She removed the book from his hand and layed a duvet blanket on top of him. She turns around and tip toes her way out of the living room.

"Why are you sneaking out of here like a thief?" Tony said with a sleepy voice. Cate jumped in place and turned around to face him.

"Tony. I'm so sorry I didn't mean to wake you! I was just gonna walk to the docks to grab a few things. I wanted to make breakfast for everyone since I'm already up." Tony stretches his arms out and gets up.

"Not necessary but I do enjoy your cooking. So let's go. I'll take you."

"Oh that's generous of you but you don't have to. And you just got up. I don't want to impose." He hushed the brunette by raising his index finger to his mouth.

"It'll be faster, you won't have to carry everything and I'll buy you coffee. We can chat. It'll be our own little adventure." He said. As he grabs his car keys off the side table next to the door.

"Ok you had me at coffee. I guess i can let you take me." She laughs aloud. The two of them leave the tower to return 30 minutes later.

Entering the kitchen, Cate spots Thor, who's already up and just about to bite into a pop tart.

"Thor! Put the pop tart down! I'm just about to make a huge breakfast for everyone!" She screamed out to the tall blond. He laughed and looked to with a bug smile. He's been enjoying watching her cook the last few times she was there. He enjoyed even more the food she gave him. Tony helped Cate put the bags unto the kitchen counter.

"If you'll excuse me, I have some work to do in my office. I'll be back later for breakfast. Is that alright?" Tony asks Cate as she takes a sip of her iced coffee and unpacks the bags.

"Yes Tony. Thank you so much. See you soon." Cate turns to Thor. "Wanna help me thunder?"

"You wish for my help? But you believe I am worthy to help you in the kitchen m'lady?" He jokingly says to her. She hands him a spatula and bows her head to him.

"You are ready my friend." Then the two of them look at each other and start laughing uncontrollably.

One by one, Cate sent a text to everyone in the Stark tower to ask them to come to the kitchen when they would wake. The table is filled with anything anybody could possibly want for breakfast. Eggs, bacon, toast, potatoes and sausage. Cinnamon buns, strudels, fruits and yogurt. It was like a buffet table. Cate and Thor stood there proud of their spread and gave each other a high five as Tony and Natasha were the first ones to walk in.

"Guys, what is this?" Nat asked them with a big grin. Thor, very proud of what he managed to make with Cate, threw his hands in the air with excitement.

"Cate and I cooked!"

"She couldn't sleep and wanted to make everyone breakfast this morning. She's a keeper ain't she?" Tony said as he winked in Cate's direction. She was pouring a cup of coffee for Nat and Tony. Steve walks in and starts smiling instantly.
