haseul returned to their table with their order, handing them their drinks and waffles with a smile. "if you need anything else, please let me know," she said before bowing to them again and leaving the table, leaving the three boys to drool over the food in front of them.

minho sipped silently on his milkshake, just watching as hyunjin began to dig into his waffle, letting out a small hum of satisfaction as he bit into the piece on his fork, allowing himself to ravenously eat piece after piece of the amazing waffle. minho couldn't help but let out a small chuckle as he watch the male eat.

of course, felix had been watching as well, giving minho a deadly scowl before cutting off a piece of his waffle. "here, try mine," he said with a wide smilen, holding the fork in front of hyunjin for him to eat it, taking it with one bite. he nodded his head at felix as he ate the piece, giving him two thumbs up and cutting a piece of his own waffle for felix to try, the younger also enjoying the small bite.

minho pouted slightly as he watched them, his face dropping. he had to admit, felix was a good guy, and he knew that hyunjin moulded well with him, and that was what made minho so mad, so jealous. the fact that hyunjin was so happy talking to felix and not him. he wasn't sure he had seen him smile so much before and it made him feel awful.

"so felix, you're not from around here, right?" minho asked with a tilted head, taking a sip from his milkshake.

"oh uh, no i'm from australia," he replied, clearing his throat and directing his eyes away from minho. felix didn't want people looking down on him because he wasn't a born and bred korean, and minho made him nervous when he mentioned it.

minho hunmed with a small nod. "how long have you lived here?" he further questioned, moving forward to lean onto the table as he stared at felix intently. the aussie looked over at hyunjin for some support, but he wasn't sure what minho was trying to achieve from this, shrugging his shoulders slightly.

felix hummed. "only a year," he said followed by a small gulp. "i was home schooled for my last year of high school because my korean wasn't great at first, but i'm getting better." he let a small smile adorn his lips after the last part, obviously proud of himself and how much he had improved.

"that's really cool that you learned korean so quickly. i studied in LA for a year, but my english is very far from perfect," hyunjin piped up, laughing lightly at his last statement. felix let out a small chuckle as well, saying that he "can't be too bad".

and there it was again. that pang of jealousy invading minho's heart. he didn't understand it. why was he so bothered by hyunjin and felix? he barely even knew hyunjin, but yet he felt so attached to him. all of a sudden, chaeyoung's face surfaced in his mind, and the thought of her being with jisung, and it angered him. the thought of someone taking her away from him, or taking hyunjin away from him, it did not make him happy at all.

"so are you guys friends through class as well?" felix asked, taking the last bite of his waffle and putting it happily into his mouth, chewing the delightful treat. hyunjin looked up between the two males, ering and uming as he thought of how to reply, but minho beat him to it.

he knew exactly how to keep hyunjin to himself.

"oh yeah, we are really close friends," the oldest said with wide grin, winking at felix as he watched the australian's face drop. minho wasn't trying to be an asshole, but the jealousy was too much for him; he couldn't control his actions in that moment, because all he knew was that he wanted to keep hyunjin to himself.

"oh..." felix found himself staring down at his hands fumbling over each other. of course they were close. minho was literally at his dorm room twice, and he had heard from his roommate about what had happened. he now knew he had no chance with hyunjin.

"uh felix, it's nothing like that—"

"i'm gonna go, don't wanna intrude on you guys." felix stood up abruptly, walking quickly to the counter to pay for his food and leaving soon after.

small hiatus due to testing
positive for covid. it made
me really sick so i was in
bed for most of the time,
but i am well now!
