minho softly knocked on the door to his sister's room, pushing it open to see her beaming up at him. "hey big brother!" she said excitedly, almost jumping up and down in her bed.

"hey, wanna come watch a movie?" he asked minjee, the girl's face lighting up at the question.

"yes!" she said, nodding her head enthusiastically. "is chaeyoung coming?" she asked him, while he got the air canisters out from under her bed.

he didn't look at her straight away, feeling ashamed that he couldn't just come out and say it. "no, she's busy tonight. but hyunjin is gonna stay and watch it with us," minho explained, earning a small sigh of disappointment from the young girl.

"but he's kinda weird," minjee said with a pout, crossing her arms across her chest. minho sighed, sitting down on the bed next to his sister. he held onto her hand, looking over at her with a small smile.

"look, minjee." he paused as his breath hitched in his throat, not sure if he should even carry on. "chaeyoung and i are taking a break," he finally said, still trying to maintain his smile.

"what sort of break?" the little girl asked, tilting her head at her older brother.

"well, we wanna focus on our studies for now," he explained, glad he could think of something quickly to tell her. minjee nodded, signalling that she understood.

"okay, lets go watch a movie," she said with a smile, pushing her breathing tube into her nose and looping it around her ears to stop it from falling. minho then helped her stand up, carrying her "air" as he helped her make her way downstairs.

hyunjin was already sat on the couch, scrolling through his instagram feed. he came across a picture of seungmin's, and he felt his heart drop. he was with another guy in the photo, their arms held tightly around each other. it was a very aesthetic photo, but that couldn't take away from hyunjin's sadness.

if only he hadn't of been such a moron.

he heard minho come into the room, his younger sister holding tightly to his side. "minjee, this is hyunjin. hyunjin, this is minjee," he said to them both, the male flashing her a smile as he waved his hand at her. she waved back hesitantly, and minho sat down with minjee in between them both.

they let the little girl pick what movie they should watch, that being tangled, and minjee spent most of the movie plaiting and braiding hyunjin's long blonde hair. he didn't mind it much though.

eventually, she had fallen asleep in minho's lap, but the two boys still allowed the film to play, quite enjoying it. hyunjin looked over at minho, who was still contently watching the movie, and just admired him. he didn't know exactly why he was doing it though.

it wasn't until minho glanced over at him that he immediately looked away from the male, his cheeks glowing pink as he focused back on the movie. "are you okay?" minho asked the blonde quietly, not wanting to wake his little sister.

hyunjin quickly nodded his head, his eyes not averting from the tv screen at all. minho laughed lightly, turning back to the movie as well. he had felt hyunjin's gaze on him long before he decided to act on it, but why? honestly, it made him feel a bit flustered.

minjee slightly stirred in minho's lap, and he smiled down at her, brushing the hair away from her face. he looked up at hyunjin before speaking. "i'm gonna take her up to her room," he said quietly, earning a nod from the taller boy. he then slowly stood up, scooping his arms under the girl and carrying her upstairs.
