hyunjin sighed as the lecture came to a close, him and the rest of his group packing up their work and putting all their things into their bags. he felt a tap on his shoulder, turning to face his new friend felix. "could i have your number? so i can text you about the project and stuff," he asked nervously, a small laugh coming out of his mouth at the end. he couldn't help but notice the aussie's shy demeanour, but he chose to ignore it; he was sure felix was just nervous to make a new friend.

"sure," hyunjin said curtly, putting his number into the younger's phone and handing it back with a smile. "i'll see you next week lix."

"see ya," felix replied with a smile before darting off out of the lecture room, obviously in a hurry. he couldn't help but shake his head at him, pulling his bag up from the floor and slinging it over his shoulder.

it was only a short walk from the lecture to his dorm, but hyunjin decided to walk a bit slower today. he found his mind wandering, mostly thinking about minho. he wasn't sure how to feel about it; he was annoyed that the older had ignored him, yet he was still worried after not seeing him today.

"hyunjin!"

as if he had been summoned by the devil himself, hyunjin turned to see the male jogging towards him with a light pant. he decided to still with the first emotion, carrying on his walk to his dorm but at a much quicker pace.

"wait hyun, please—"

"i'm not in the mood, lee," he said coldly, throwing a glare back at the older. no way was he going to let him just waltz on in and all be forgiven. if he wanted to talk to hyunjin, he was gonna have to fight for it.

although, having minho follow him all the way to his dorm building was quite irritating. was he going to follow him all the way to his dorm? or was he going to speak up before? hyunjin didn't have a clue, but he kept on walking, not wanting to let the older win.

he made his way into the building, walking up the stairs hurriedly, but not too fast so that minho wouldn't notice to quicken his pace and catch up. once on his floor, hyunjin darted to his room, opening the door and slamming it shut abruptly in minho's face.

hyunjin took a second to catch his breath and threw his bag down on the ground, flopping down onto his bed with a loud huff. he knew he was acting childish, but in his eyes, so was minho. i mean, who would skip college just to avoid someone?

that's why he wasn't at college, right?
