minho stuffed his hands into his pockets, trudging along the path to one of the other dorm buildings. he got stared at by many other students, mainly because of the angry scowl he held on his face. he was fuelled by rage, and he felt betrayed. cheated. he'd put all of his love and soul into chaeyoung, taking her on dates, buying her gifts, cheering her up when she was sad. it had all been thrown back in his face.

it didn't take him long to get to the building, taking himself straight up the stairs to the floor chaeyoung's room was on and finding it fairly quickly. he banged his fist on the door several times, taking a moment before impatiently hitting it again before the short girl swung the door open. "minho what—"

"jisung?! really?!" he screamed at her. "i did everything for you. i got you everything you ever wanted. i made sure you were happy all the time, even if it put myself out. i would have given my life for you, chaeyoung. how could you do this to me?!" he broke down into tears, the corridor now lined with other nosey students wanting to know what was going on.

chaeyoung glanced around at them, a little embarrassed. "look minho, come inside and sit down. we can talk about it—"

"no, chae! i wanna know why! i wanna know why you decided out of no where to break up with me, and how you end up with jisung at a party not even a week later," minho's voice cracked, his tears now uncontrollable, but they couldn't mask his anger.

chaeyoung's breath hitched in her throat, not knowing what to say to him. had jisung told him about it? "look minho, we are not together any more! you need to move on! what i do now is none of your concern!"

"please, i just wanna know. was it him?" minho asked calmly, chaeyoung doing everything to avoid his eyes. she couldn't bring herself to tell him; she didn't want to hurt him after all. somewhere inside of her, she still cared for minho, and she had tried so hard to distance herself from him so he wouldn't find out. but minho wasn't a quiter.

"y-yeah. we had been... seeing each other before we—" chaeyoung looked up at the male, hearing him sob as he covered his face with his hand. not once had she ever seen minho in this state, so sad and helpless. he'd always been the strong one, but love makes you do unusual things.

"how long?" minho asked in a quiet voice, his cries now silent under his hand. the girl didn't know what to say. should she lie some more or come clean? chaeyoung didn't want him to find out like this, especially with all these people watching them intently.

"minho, just come inside—"

"how long?!" he shouted, now glaring at the girl who was cowering before him. minho scared her when he was angry; she should have known by now that he had a short temper, and was quick to resort to violence and shouting. that's just the sort of person he was.

at some point, hyunjin had joined the crowd, having been walking up to his own room and catching the sight of minho in the corner of his eye. he saw that chaeyoung was at a loss for words, and he didn't want minho to do anything he would regret. "hey min, let's go. she's not worth it," the younger male said, holding onto his arm and trying to pull him away.

minho felt weak. he felt like his knees were going to give and he was just going to fall. his head was spinning with anxious and angry thoughts, both mixing to create the perfect concoction of chaos within his own head. he was helpless, allowing hyunjin to pull him away from the crowd and a now tearful chaeyoung.
