"look hyunjin, i cant give you more than that at a time. you'll overdose and i'm not gonna let you do that," the tall guy said, slipping the cigarette back between his lips as he stared over at the brunette. in all honesty, he felt sorry for hyunjin; he was still in high school, and he had his whole life ahead of him. yet here he was, begging for just a little bit more coke.

"come on yugyeom, i need it, please! just to get me through the week," hyunjin begged, practically on his knees. he ran a hand through his tousled hair and bit his lip in anticipation, waiting for the answer he wanted from the older male, but he only sighed.

"no means no, hyunjin," he said, turning his back from the younger and leaving.

hyunjin stared blankly at the two of them as they greeted some other people. yugyeom was the last person he expected to see with seungmin, and it really rattled his bones. hyunjin now realised who the guy with the mustard yellow hair was on seungmin's instagram, the colour change making him almost unrecognisable. he was tempted to approach him, but the young male knew he would lash out. after all, he blamed yugyeom for his previous drug addiction.

"hyunjin? you okay?" the male turned to see minho beside him with a worried look on his face. he hadn't properly spoken to him since he lashed out at him the other week, but minho had been very persistent in trying to talk to him every time he saw him.

hyunjin let out a breath he didn't even realise he was holding. "y-yeah, i'm fine," he said in a small voice, looking down at his feet. "i just... nevermind." he turned away from minho, deciding it would probably be best if he left before seungmin and yugyeom noticed he was here. however, he was too late.

"hey hyunjin!" seungmin greeted with a wide smile, his hand linked with a surprised older male. hyunjin turned back to face them, forcing a smile onto his face as he greeted seungmin, but doing his best to avoid eye contact with yugyeom.

"wow hyunjin! i haven't seen you in so long!" yugyeom said, almost forcing out a happy tone and an overly wide smile. "you're hair looks great by the way." he swung his arm around seungmin's shoulders, a smug look now painting his face.

hyunjin sighed, looking up at the older male. "yours looks good too," he said in a hushed tone, rage seething through his teeth as he spoke. he could see what yugyeom was trying to do, seeing as he knew of his and seungmin's history, and he knew exactly why they broke up in the first place.

seungmin looked over at minho, who still stood next to hyunjin with a dumbfounded look on his face. "who's this?" he asked with a curious tone, making the older's head peak up as he cleared his throat.

"oh, i'm minho," he said awkwardly. "i'm uh, just hyunjin's—"

"boyfriend," hyunjin finished quickly, completely cutting minho off as he grabbed hold of his hand, the older's face looking like he'd just seen a ghost.

the other two nodded. "oh that's nice! see, i told you that you would find someone perfect for you hyunjin," seungmin said with a smile, but yugyeom's grin was more sinister. "i'll see you later," the youngest then said, giving them both a small wave before pulling yugyeom away.

hyunjin let out a deep sigh, whilst minho just stared at him in shock. "hyunjin, are you—" the younger cut him off by pushing their lips together for a brief second, leaving minho even more stunned as they just stared into each others eyes. they both knew what they wanted, so minho gave him a grin and pulled the younger upstairs.
