Shai POV –

“Shai! Shai, over here!” the photographers all yell at once.

I am currently standing on the red carpet for the first Insurgent premier. Theo has gone to have photos by himself, and I have been having mine done for the past ten minutes.

“Hey, girl,” Zoe says, coming over and wrapping me into a hug.

I hug her back. “Hey! How are you?”

“I’m so good! How are you? What’s been happening? I hear you got engaged on New Year’s?” she says, smiling. We both stand next to each other, posing. Zoe’s arm is wrapped around my waist and mine is over her shoulders.

“I’m good, thanks. I might have,” I say, showing her my left hand with the engagement ring on it.

“Shit!” she laughs. “That is one ring.”

I laugh with her. “I know, right. So what’s been happening with you?” I ask.

“Nothing,” she says, looking away from me.

I grab her shoulder and spin her to look at me. “Don’t bullshit me. What’s been happening with you?” I repeat.

She turns back to the cameras, smiling. “I might have found someone,” she mummers.

“That is so good! Who?”

“It’s someone you know…very well.” Zoe turned around and started walking away. She goes and stands next to Miles and takes pictures with him.

Someone I know very well…. Who could that be?

Suddenly, I feel a familiar arm wrap around my waist, his hand stopping just under my right breast.

“Hello,” his thick British accent mummers in my ear.

I smile, and turn to him. His face covering my face so I can whisper in his ear. “Hey, handsome. How’s your night?”

“It’s better now,” he says. “We doing interviews together?”

“Hells to the yes,” I reply, turning my head so I am facing the cameras again.

Theo squeezes my waist and smiles with me.

“Theo! Shai! Turn here,” they yell.

We turn to them, and then I see a sign held up just to the left of the photographers.
