Best Day Ever part 2 - Shai

A/N: This is a little long haha. this chapter will continue, don't worry. 

“Theo, I cannot express how thankful I am for you taking me out today” I said, taking Theo’s hand and bringing it up to my lips. I kissed his knuckles before interlacing our fingers and bringing them back down.

This hike we are on is amazing. The sounds of the birds chirping, and the faint trickle of water running made me feel so….relaxed.

“It’s my pleasure, Shai,” Theo said with a smile.

We had been walking for about 10 minutes. We had been talking about the future, and Insurgent and Allegiant and our lives.

“Shai?” Theo stoped.

“Yeah, babe?”

“Do you think we will be together in the future?” he asked quietly. He looked down, looking afraid of my answer.

Of course I would want to be with Theo in the future. I love him. Filming Divergent was such a blast, and now that we are dating, I don’t think anything can come between us, to be honest.

“Theo,” I paused, taking his chin in my hand, and making him look at me, “Of course I think we will be together in the future. I am not going anywhere, and I will never leave you. I don’t know where you go that idea from, but I am definitely not going anywhere.”

Theo smiled and put his hands around my waist. “Good, because I don’t plan on leaving you ever. And you are just going to be stuck with me for the rest of your life.”

“Good” I said, before closing the gap between us. Our lips moved in sync, and my hands went to the back of his neck, playing with his hair. We stayed kissing for a while, before we both pulled back, with goofy grins.

We started to walk again, and this time, Theo had his arm draped over my shoulders.

After a while, we had found the source of the running water. A small waterfall in the middle of a large opening. There was a few benches to sit down, overlooking the lake. The lake was the deepest shade of blue I had ever seen, it was spectacular. The view was breathtaking.

Theo took my hand, and led me over to one of the benches. We both sat down, and Theo pulled me onto his lap so my back was against his chest. I leant back and made myself comfortable, resulting in a low chuckle from Theo.

“Are you right there?” His hot breath tickled my neck as he spoke.

“Yep, are you?” I said.

“Yeah, I’m great, actually” Theo whispered, his lips touching just behind my ear. He continued to kiss my neck, making me moan. “I see you are liking this” he whispered.

“Oh shut up, and kiss me” I said, turning on his lap and crashing my lips into his. I felt him smile in the kiss. I pulled away from his lips, to start kissing at his neck and jaw bone.

Theo tried his best to stifle a moan, but I still heard it. “Shailene, I don’t think it is best we start something that we can’t stop,” he warmed. His voice was low and sexy.

I made my way back to his lips, and gave him a peck before getting off him, and pulling my phone out to take a picture of the breathtaking views. I managed to take a few pictures before Theo took my phone out of my hands, and flipped the camera s it was facing him. He took a bunch of selfies, before pulling me into his embrace, and taking a few of us together.

After our ‘selfie session’, we hiked back to the car. I glanced at my phone for the time, it was 1pm, no wonder I was getting hungry.

“Theodore”

“Yes” he answered

“I’m hu’’ I started.

“I’m already on it. I brought your favourite, but don’t eat too much, because we have a lot to do for the rest of the day” Theo said pulling a bag out of the back of his truck. We were sitting in the tray of his truck (A/N: the back of the ute, where the stuff goes, idk what it is called) and our backs were leaning on the cab of the truck. Theo opened the bag, and pulled out a bag of Cheetos and a few macaroons. “Here you are” he said, handing me the macaroons.

I gladly took some and quickly kissed Theo on the cheek. I started eating the macaroon, whilst Theo got started on his Cheetos.

“You have thought of everything, Theo” I said.

“There is still way more to come” he said, getting up, and lifting me up with him. A squeal escaped my lips as I was swung onto Theo’s shoulder. I was holding onto Theo’s shirt for dear life.

“Hey, guess what” I suddenly.

“What?” Theo asked, intrigued.

“You have a really nice ass” I said, grabbing at his butt. Theo jumped, and we both started laughing. 

Theo opened his car door, and placed me in the passenger’s side. “Don’t worry, your bum is pretty nice too. I love it” Theo said. I felt myself blushing. Theo smiled triumphantly as he shut my door and went to the drivers side, and got in.

“Where to next?” I asked.

“It’s a surprise” he said, reversing out of the car park.

“Can’t you just tell me this one? It’s been a surprise all day,” I whined like a 5-year old.

Theo smiled. “Okay, umm, I guess. I’ll give you a hint, how about that?”

I felt my smile grow from ear-to-ear. “Okay!”

“It involves very little clothing” Theo said with a perverted smile.

I hit him across the arm, “That is disgusting.” I said laughing

“Well, it’s true and I didn’t know how to say it without giving the full surprise away.” He said

I rolled my eyes, and looked out the window.
