Shai POV –
Groaning, I wake up with pains in my stomach and something wet between my legs. I roll over to check the time, seeing the red digital numbers flick over to three AM.
Moon cycle... I guess I know I'm not pregnant.
I drag myself out of bed, cursing at how I wasn't prepared for my cycle to happen today. I usually know exactly when I'm going to get my period, and I'm usually prepared with pads and tampons.... Not this time. I guess I forgot about it, being with Theo in the hospital and the start of filming.
I walk into the bathroom, turning on the shower and slipping out of my clothes. I quickly rinse my body, and then get out again. I get changed, sliding into the comfiest underwear I own, sweats and one of Theo's shirts, and tie my shoulder length hair up into a messy bun.
I walk back into the bedroom, picking up my phone and a blanket and walk downstairs with them both.
I know for a fact that with this pain, I won't be getting any sleep. I walk into the kitchen and boil the kettle. I grab a mug off the shelf, and place it on the marble counter top, putting some herbal tea in it.
I then open the medicine cabinet and pull out a heat pack. I put that in the microwave for a minute, and wait for it to be done. In the meantime, I pour the hot water into my tea, and dip the bag in it a few times, making it stronger.
After the microwaves beeps at me, I grab my heat pack and mug, and walk into the living room, curling up onto the couch. I turn the TV on, and find that the only things on at 3am are infomercials. Getting sick of them after about twenty minutes, I go over to the DVD section of the wall and pick out Star Trek.

"So, are you ready to come home yet?" I ask Theo, tiredly. While watching Star Trek this morning, I had the worst period pains, so I tried to curl myself into a smaller ball, putting pressure onto my stomach. It didn't work. I didn't fall back to sleep; I stayed up all morning watching movies. And finally, at 9am I came into the hospital.
"YES!" Theo shouts. "I'm never coming in here again...Unless you are in labour." He mumbles the last bit, smiling sheepishly at me as I half-heartedly hit him on the thigh. "I'm joking, bubs."
"You better be, bubs," I mock him, smiling.
"You look tired," he comments after a moment of silence.
I nod my head, fighting a yawn. "A little."
"Did you not get any sleep last night?" Theo grabs my hand and pulls me closer to him, letting me lay my head on his shoulder.
"Been up since three AM," I tell him. "My moon cycle has arrived." I pout as the pain returns in my stomach.
