Chapter 4 - Best Day Ever (shai)

As soon as we got into Theo's truck, he had the music pumping. I had no idea where we were going, but as soon as he started to drive, he tuned the music up, and we both ang along. Mt terrible singing made us both laugh like maniacts, but Theo's voice was AMAZING.

"Shai, are you ready for this?" Theo asked, glancing at me, and then back at the road. We had been driving for about an 30 minutes, and i was starting to get hungry. 

"Yes, i am. As long as there is breakfast, becuase i am starving, Theo" I pouted. 

Theo looked at me quickly, and then back at the road, clenching his jaw. "I was waiting for you to say something like that," he paused. "There will be food in about, mm, 10 minutes" he said, looking at his watch.

"Okay."

10 minutes later, we had pulled into a little cafe that was surrounded by trees.

"This place is amazing," Theo said, holding my door for me.

"Thanks" i said, getting out. Theo took my hand in his, and led me inside.

The place looked  so homely. It had a rustic log-cabin feel about it, but also feeling modern. 

Theo led us to a booth, and we both sat down. "What do you feel like?" he asked. "I highly recomend the pancakes to share...they are to die for. If you don't feel like pancakes, their egg and bacon is great too." he finished. 

I looked at the menu, everything sounded so good. "Umm, I think i'll go with the pancakes, and a chocolate milkshake" I said, closing my menu and looking up at theo. 

Theo smiled a goofy grin, and looked down at his menu. "Would you like to share those lovely pancakes with me, Ma'am?" he said, trying to sound professional. 

"If you would like to share them, I guess I wouldnt mind," I paused, "BUT, you better not eat everything!" i finished, pointing a finger at him.

He took my finger in his hand, and brought it to his mouth, kissing it. "I promise, i won't eat them all." He said, letting go of my finger, and taking my whole hand in his. He laced our fingers together, and rested our hands on the table.

Theo and i spoke for anout 2 minutes before a young looking girl came up to our table.
"Hi, my name is Rosie, and i'll be your waitress for today. What can i get you?" our waiter, Rosie, said.  She was wearing a black skirt with a matching black top. She had black converses on, and she had a black apron covering the lower half of her body. Her brown coloured hair was tied back into a tight bun at the top of her head. She had deep brown eyes, and lots of freckles. 

"Hey Rosie, how are you? Can I please get pancakes and a Mr. Jimmy shake to share, please" Theo said, looking at the girl, and smiling before handing our menus back. 

"Sure thing, Theo. I bring your milkshake right out" Rosie said with a smile. She looked like she was about 16 years old. After saying, that, she left. 

"Do you know her?" I asked. 

"Yeah, i used to come down here all the time, and we are kind of really close. She is sort of like a sister to me... A very young sister" Theo said.

I looked at him, something in the way he said that ensured me that he would so anything for the girl. I found myself smiling over how protective Theo could be

A few minutes later, Rosie came back out holding a large glass with two straws. "Here is your Mr. Jimmy shake," she said, placing the chocolate milkshake on the table between Theo and I. 

"Thank you" i said before Rosie walked off. 

"Shai, i need to tell you something" Theo said with a serious look on his face. He took ahold of the drink, and moved it to his side of the table. 

I looked at him, waiting for him to continue. 

"Shailene. Diann Woodley." Theo took a breath. "What you are about to taste will change your whole life. Mr. Jimmy is not only a very attractive man, he is also a wonderful, kind and caring man with an excellent recipe for chocolate milkshakes." he smiled. 

"Is this Mr. Jimmy you?" I asked. 

"No comment. I will answer questions as the day goes on. Now, try this amazing drink" he said, pushing the drink over to me. 

I tried it, and Oh My Gosh, it was AMAZING! The best milkshake in the world. I knew Theo was Mr. Jimmy, so i acted like i hated it. 

"So.... Do you like it?" Theo said, with raised eye brows. 

"Err, i've had better" 

"What? Where?" 

"Oh, you know, around" i said with no emtion. 

Theo's face showed a look of disappointment and hurt. 

"Theo, i'm joking" i said, leaning over the table and giving him a quick kiss on the cheek. 

"oh" is all he said. 

-------------------TIME LAPSE TO AFTER BREAKFAST-----------------------

After breakfast, we got back in the car and drove for about 10 minutes before pulling at a parking lot. Theo got out of the car, and came over to mine, and opened my door for me. 

"What are we doing here?" I asked. 

"We are going for a hike" Theo smiled. 

I smiled instantly. Hiking was one of my favourite things to do, but with my job and everything that has been going on, i have been extremely busy, and i havent been hiking since before we started to film Divergent. 

"Oh My Gosh, Theo, you are the best" I said, crashing my lips to his. 

We kissed for a while, before we both pulled back, and started on our hike.
