Chapter 22 - Did anything happen?

Becuse you all hate me becuase of he last chapter, (*cough* tayla *cough*) here is another update for yous :)

Theo POV –

They say love can make you do stupid things.

Love didn’t make me do this stupid thing. My ex did. There is no love involved.

I don’t even know if I did actually sleep with Ruth.

I pace back and forth as I try to recall the memory of that night.

“Theo, honey, do you want a drink?” Ruth asks.

“Yeah,” I mumble, fisting my hair. I can’t believe I said that to Shailene! What type of boyfriend am I if I just yelled at her and told her to f**k off?

“Here, baby,” Ruth says, handing me a beer.

“I’m not your baby. Ruth we have nothing,” I clarify.

Ruth puts her hand on my bicep. “Theo. Don’t you remember us? What we had? It was something special,” she says.

“Yeah, Ruth. HAD. What we had. We don’t have it anymore. I don’t like you. I am in love with someone else, Ruth. You know that. Plus, you cheated on me,” I say taking a sip of beer.

Ahh, beer, how I love you.

All of a sudden, Ruth’s lips are on mine. What?

I instantly pull back. “What are you doing?” I ask, raising my voice. “I am in love with Shailene, not you.”

“Theo. Don’t kid yourself. You love me, and I love you. We are meant to be. Don’t go to that Shailene girl, stay with me,” she says, leaning forward so her top comes down and I get a full view.

I don’t look down her top. I am in a relationship. I am a strong man.

“Come on, Theo-kins. I need you,” she says. “Let’s just get you comfortable, okay?” she says, taking my beer from my hands.

I whimper as she takes my beer. I’m up to my fourth one. I really love beer.

“I love Shailene.”

That’s all I can remember. I groan in frustration as I walk into the living room and see little pieces of glass over the floor. I walk to the wall and see Shai’s phone, smashed into about 50 pieces.

I decide to call Ruth to ask if she remembers what happened that night.
