Theo POV –
“I now pronounce to you, Mister and Missus Taptiklis,” the celebrant says.
I look into Shailene’s eyes, pulling back a little bit. “Mrs Taptiklis,” I smirk.
Shailene’s smile widens, “Mr. Taptiklis,” she says.
I press my lips to hers in a quick peck before pulling back completely and grabbing her hand. We walk down the single step of the altar and stop. Our family and friends come and congratulate us.
“Welcome to the family, son,” Loni, Shai’s dad says, slapping my back and holding a hand out for me to shake.
I gladly take it. “Thank you, sir.”
“You are part of the family now, it’s just Loni or dad,” he says with a smile. His smile quickly disappears as he turns serious. “You better treat her right, kid.”
I turn my head to see my wife talking with her mother, and mine. My heart warms at the thought of her being my wife, and now that she is…. It’s like a dream come true. I never thought that I would marry someone like Shailene.
I turn back to Loni. “I would never mistreat her. She is my lifeline,” I admit.
Loni nods his head, and smiles before going over to his daughter…. My wife.
Lori, Shai’s mom comes over to me next. Somehow, Shailene has been taken a few feet away from me by my family.
“Theo,” she says, pulling me into a hug. As she pulls back, tears brim her eye. “Theo, darling, welcome to the family,” she says.
“Thank you,” I reply, pulling her in for another hug.
Before she pulls away completely, she leans in close to me and says, “I want kids.” She laughs as she pulls away, and then starts to walk away.
“Me too, Lori. Me too,” I call out, smiling at the thought of having a mini me or a mini Shai running around.
After a few more minutes, the crowd start to leave.
I turn to Shailene and find she is already looking at me. A large smile is etched across her beautiful face. My eyes scan down her body, taking in her wedding dress, – that I want to rip off her – her beautiful features and her frame. My eyes travel back up to hers, noticing her visibly check me out as we stand a few feet away from each other. She notices that I am no longer checking her out, and she blushes, being caught in the act.
“It’s okay, I know I am hot,” I joke, taking a step closer to her. “But, I am yours, Mrs. Taptiklis, so that means you can check me out whenever you want to,” I smirk at her.
“You wish you were hot,” she scoffs, taking the last step towards me. Her heeled shoes make us nearly the same height, about an inch or two difference. She puts her hands on my chest, playing with my blazer. “You are mine, Mr. Taptiklis, but I am also yours.”
“Ahh, Mrs Taptiklis…” I trail off, dipping my head a little to brush my nose against hers. My hands go to her hips, and I squeeze softly. I trail my nose along her cheek before running it along her mouth, and then up her nose again, resting my forehead on hers.
She runs her hands up my chest and into my hair, where she lightly tugs at the strands. “Kiss me already, Theodore,” she whispers, closing her eyes.
I press my lips to hers, and wrap my hands around her waist. Our lips work in perfect synchronisation, moving together as one. I run my tongue along her bottom lip, asking for entry, but she denies it. I keep kissing her normally until I start to nibble at her bottom lip. Taking it in my teeth, I tug at it, pulling back slightly, before letting it go and sucking on it. I repeat this a few times, while Shai sucks and nibbles on my top lip.
We both pull back at the same time, breathless.
“Come on, Mrs. Taptiklis,” I say, “We have a car to get to.” Before she reacts, I quickly scoop her up into my arms and carry her bridal style out of the room, and outside, to where a black vintage American car is waiting for us. On the back window of the car is, ‘Just Married’ written in white, cursive writing, with empty cans and streamers dangling to the ground.
She giggle once she sees the car, and kisses my cheek.
“Shai, Theo,” someone calls out.
We both look up and see our photographer, Lauren, is standing in front of us.
“Hey, Lauren,” Shai says.
“Congratulations,” Lauren says. “Can I just get a few more photos?” she asks.
“Sure thing,” I say, smiling, looking down at Shailene.
“Okay, cool. Umm, stay exactly like that,” she says. We both don’t move, instead we communicate with our smiles and our eyes. “Next, Theo, could you put Shailene down for this one?” she asks.
I stand Shai up, and press another quick kiss to her lips, feeling her smile throughout it.
“Can you please hold this, both of you,” Lauren says, handing us a string with little flags on it. The flags of material have letters on it.
‘Mr & Mrs’

A low more photos later, Lauren is finished.
“Ready for the rest of our lives?” I ask.
“Since the day I laid my eyes on you. But, I don’t want to think about that right now,” Shai says, smirking.
“What do you want to think about?” I ask, playing along.
“You, me, and our honeymoon.’
