—————————————————————A girl, 16 years old, stepped out of the taxi. she walked up the front steps of the Simmonds' house with her bag in her hand, headphones in and music blasting.
As the door creaked open, she could hear the echoes of the people inside."Hi." she said as she walked in - Dillon, Liam and their father were sat around someone's phone, watching Dillon's penalty from the day before at the quarter finals of the Youth Cup. "Wow, not bored of that then, I see." She said, rolling her eyes.
"It's a class penalty, Perrie, you of all people should recognise that."
"Yeah right," said Liam, sarcastically, "didn't Theo Baines miss a pen last week?"
"Why, been keeping up on the Hawkstone news, have you Liam? I thought you were a Foxborough fan." she said smiling, as she packed away some of the shopping.
"Thanks for the shopping." Dillon's dad said, his eyes still fixed on the tiny screen, watching his son intently.
"Your welcome. Did anyone realise that I also scored a penalty yesterday?"
"Yeah but, your strike needs a bit of work, it nearly hit the woodwork." joked Dilllon.
"Whatever, i'll prove I can score in a few days at the semis."
"Yeah, yeah, you keep on daydreaming." Dillon said, and she smiled and shook her head.
"I'm going out to meet Jamie." she said, which made her smile for some reason.
"How is your boyfriend lately? You're not distracting him are you? We need him to win the finals."
"And there I was thinking you were the one we needed to win. My mistake!" she said mockingly.
"Yeah, but how is it going?"
"We're good, why are you suddenly so interested?"
"I don't want him breaking your little heart that's all." he said mockingly, and Perrie hit him with a book that was on the kitchen counter.
"Anyway, see you later." but before she left, she took a huge packet of sweets out her bag and found them at Dillon.
"What are they for?" He asked.
She rolled her eyes. "It's the anniversary of when I moved in with you guys today."
"Oh yes, how could I forget such an important date." Dillon said sarcastically, his tone monotonous.
Perrie rolled her eyes again before opening the door and headed outside under the evening sky.
