Today, Nina and I were holding a bonfire at her place. The time was currently 5:07pm and it was still pretty light outside so we were all just hanging out around a glass table.

Niall and Mitch were both currently laughing at something the other had said while I listened in once in a while into their conversation. They had agreed to play us a few songs a bit later which I was really excited about.

Nina on the other hand was in the small outside bar helping Ruby make some drinks. From afar, I couldn't help but watch her struggle to read Ruby the instructions off of her phone.

She was wearing black high waisted flared jeans with some white converse and violet long sleeve. Her hair was perfectly waved and she topped of the entire look with a nude lipstick across her lips. It was such a natural and simple look that made her look absolutely flawless. God, I was truly in love.

With two drinks in hand, she finally walks over to our group and makes her way towards Casey who is sitting right beside me.

She reaches over to hand her a bright yellow drink that is a gradient turned orange at the bottom. It almost looked a lot like a sunset and gave a summery feel although we were right into the winter season. It even had a lemon wedge hanging from the sugared brim and overall it seemed pretty fucking good.

"Thank you." Casey smiles looking quite impressed with the drink she'd been handed. "Did you make this? You should be working with me. It looks better than anything I've ever done." She jokes.

"No, but Ruby did." Nina says lowly as her best friend walks over to us with a smirk.

Ruby as always is wearing black, a leather jacket draped over her shoulders with her dark ripped jeans and black combat boots. She's always looked pretty intimidating.

"Oh, gross. Take it, for all I know she poisoned it." Casey says, immediately switching up. She mumbles something under her breathe, staring down at her drink and swirling it a bit as if she was critiquing it.

"Casey." I warn. "Please, be nice." I swear this whole bickering thing between them is never going to end.

"Yeah, Casey. Be nice." Ruby teases causing Nina to roll her eyes playfully. "I added a lemon for you. Seemed to be a nice treat for your sour ass."

"Alright, that's enough." Nina groans. The doorbell suddenly rings, sounding all the way to the backyard. The sliding door was open and we listened to the door echo again before Nina sits up to make her way towards inside. "You two can't do this all night. I swear, sometimes I have the urge to just lock you both into a room and have you sort whatever shit you've got going on." She mumbles.

"Doesn't sound like a bad idea." I pitch. "Maybe, we should try that."

"Oh fuck that. She'd kill me before this drink does." Casey responds, making Ruby smirk at her.
