I brush my fingers through my newly curled hair before picking up a tube of a rose pink lipstick. I focus on the mirror in front of me, careful not to smudge the lipstick off the edge of my lips. I pull away, taking one last look at my reflection and brushing my fingers through my waved hair to make sure everything seems in place.
Once I'm satisfied, I turn around to look at Harry who's sat leaning his palms on the bed, eyeing me down with a sweet smile.
He was in a black button up with a golden floral design throughout. He had black slacks on and his shiny black boots on his feet. His nails glittered a golden shade to match his outfit and he'd even let me smudge a bit of gold eyeshadow on the corner of eyes to top it all off. His hair was beautiful curled and resting just behind his ears making him look like pure royalty.
"Okay I'm ready, how do I look?" I sigh turning back to Harry. I move closer to him, moving my hands up and down to gesture at my outfit.
I was dressed in a short rose gold dress paired with black heels and golden necklace was around my neck. My charm bracelet Harry had gifted me was dangling from my wrist and I was feeling pretty good. I've always been with family on New Years, so this was a bit different and for some reason I'd felt the need to dress a bit more fancier than usual.
"Gorgeous." Harry smiles. "Don't think I'd be able to take it if you were anymore beautiful. Can hardly do it already."
He stares at me for a split moment with so much admiration that it makes me feel incredibly shy for once and that doesn't happen to me often.
Only he can make me feel like this.
"Thank you." I feel myself blush. I lean in to place a kiss on his lips swiftly, Harry slightly tugging on my bottom lip. He leaves a few pecks against my lips and I laugh slightly.
"If we keep this up we won't ever get to Ruby's club." I hum against him.
"Wouldn't mind that." He responds, pecking me three more times before I finally pull away.
"No, she'd definitely kill us both." I say. Ruby's club was having a New Years countdown event and she'd heard they went pretty damn hard so she thought to invite us which was nice. It was also more of a fancy wear event or as Harry called it, a costume party.
"Are Niall and Mitch joining along after all?" I question him, turning to grab my purse.
"Yeah! Their gig was cancelled last minute so they'll be coming along." He says. "Which reminds me, I need to text them the address."
I'd been feeling a lot closer to Mitch and Niall lately. They were truly talented and amazing people. I also loved the fact that Harry and I were making more friends. I was never really able to make friends at my old job. Everyone was always too busy and everyone seemed way to focus on their work to make any sort of relationship which is honestly a bit depressing.
