Opening my eyes, I shut them right away, wincing at the light coming from a window across. Jesus fucking Christ, why do I feel like I'm dying?

I groan and shove my head into the pillow next to me before slowly sitting up. I curse under my breathe at the throbbing pain in my head and open my eyes again taking a look at the queen sized bed I was laying on.

This wasn't mine.

"Shit. Shit. Shit." I start to panic and look around at the tan walls around me.

Okay, Nina everything is cool just retrace your steps.

Ruby and I danced, took another shot, danced some more...that's all.

That's all I remember, how did I get here?

Shit. I don't do one night stands, I must've been pretty fucking wasted for this to happen.

And where the hell was Ruby? She really just let me go off with some stranger? What the hell? This clearly isn't someone I know which is concerning me a little bit. I don't recognize this room.

I take a deep breathe trying to calm myself down but instead, inhale the scent of maple syrup and crispy bacon. Are they going to stuff me before they kill me?? What's happening right now?

I rapidly begin to rush around looking for my purse and heels. Maybe I can get out of here quick enough without them noticing.

After finally finding my items, I hold onto my heels and strapping my purse across my body before I carefully turn the doorknob, tiptoeing out of the room.

I don't know my way around this house but I know that logically, hallways always lead to exists and I'm going to find one.

Turning to look at the walls, they're filled with tons of colorful abstract art and paintings.

Great décor I think. They obviously has taste. Maybe they're not so bad.

After walking out, the only thing in sight is the front door right across. I can see a white counter with a couple of stools, but nothing more than that.

Praying that the strangers back is turned and that he doesn't ask any questions if they do see me, I try my best not to make any loud steps as I reach the door.

"Nina?"

I stop at the sound of my name, immediately recognizing that voice.

Fuck.

Turning to the side slowly, I'm met with my shirtless ex fiancé in the kitchen, a spatula in one hand and the handle of a pan in the other. "Good morning."

My eyes dart down to his toned chest, the tattoos I hadn't seen in forever distracting me into silence. "What are you doing here?" I frown in confusion.

"I live here." Harry responds in an obvious tone.

My eyes dart down to a loose white t-shirt on my body that isn't mine. I was so distracted on getting the fuck out of here I hadn't even thought about what I was wearing. Honestly, I could've walked out fully nude and I wouldn't have even cared enough to notice. "Oh shit, I have to go home, I have so many things to do. Where are my clothes?"
