When I wake up the next morning, my eyes squint at the bright light coming from the window. The birds can be heard chirping away and I'd almost forgotten Harry had slept over until I heard his slight snores beside me.

His arms were still wrapped comfortably around my waist as I inhale the scent I have been missing for so long.

"Morning." His deep voice sounds. He must've felt me stir awake. "You feeling okay?"

I could feel a massive headache in this moment from crying so much yesterday and I had no doubt my eyes were swollen.

"Just a headache." I respond sleepily shutting my eyes again. Harry holds me closer to him and I snuggle my face into his neck. "What time is it?" I ask.

Harry gives me a me lazy groan in response and I try to move away from his arms to check my phone but his grip around my waist only gets tighter. "I need to pick Lenny up." I let him know.

"We'll do that..." He whispers causing shivers down my spine. "Just a little longer..." He mumbles so incoherently and groggily.

The honest truth was that I felt more at home laying like this with Harry, than I have in a long time.

Before I'd been hired, our life was a lot like this. I was still going to school, studying and aiming for my diploma. I was writing for the University newspaper and I was busy at times but never too busy for Harry or Lenny. We would stay up watching movies, cuddling, going out or making dinner together.

I was on the right track, everything seemed to be going fine until I'd gotten this job.

I felt like shit. All of this went downhill because of me and I felt so fucking guilty.

"As comfortable as I feel right now, I really think I should get up." I say to Harry. He takes a deep sigh before allowing me to move away from his grasp.

Standing up, I walk over to my closet and pick out a purple floral top with some high waisted jeans. Usually, I'd wear more of a professional look on a Thursday. Maybe a tucked in button up, a skirt and a blazer but it seemed like I wouldn't be touching that specific type of attire for a while.

On the flip side, strangely enough, waking up without having the responsibility of going to work, almost felt like a relief.

Looking back at Harry, he is now comfortably laying on his belly, arms sprawled across the queen sized bed with his eyes shut. I let him know I'll be in the shower, to which he gives me another lazy groan in response and tucks the comforter up over his head.

By the time I'm finished and out of the bathroom, I expect Harry to be in the same position as I'd last seen him but instead I'm met with him sat, scrolling through his phone.

"I still have some clothes of yours if you'd like to change." I mutter, throwing my clothes in the dirty hamper.

Harry doesn't respond at first and when I hear him go silent, I turn to see him staring back with a soft smile and his lips curled into a small smirk, revealing a dimple.
