Meeting the Kids

"Come on, you and I are going out. I just cleared my schedule for the afternoon," he grabbed my hand and dragged me out the door. "Can I call my sister first? She's gonna want to know, so will my friends." He nods and leaves me for a second.

I dial my sister's number and call her, "hello? S/n? I might be late tonight. Just so yo-" I was cut off by a man's voice, "Who are you? Why do you have my sister's phone?.....Ok, give me one second," I put myself on mute and hand the phone to Chargebolt, "I don't know the details, but that is not my sister."

He takes the phone and starts talking, "Hello?........Oh! I see...and where does he go?...Ok. I'll tell her that, thank you. Glad you're ok," He hangs up the phone, "It was a prank from one of your sister's co-workers. And she wants you to pick up Morino from school. He goes to Matsugaya elementary school."

"Ok, he probably got into another fight. No big deal, let's go!" I start to walk off, "I guess we're on babysitting duty." He smiles and takes my hand as we walk. "Char-" he cuts me off, "Denki. That's my real name, Denki Kaminari."

"Ok, Kaminari. We should get going if we want to make the next train." I start running, dragging him behind me. When we got there, we watched the train leave. We start to catch our breath and sit down on a bench. 10 minutes later, and the train arrives. "Finally," I mutter to myself, "Let's go." I stand up and Kaminari stands up with me, because of our still intertwined hands.

We found a seat on the train, next to each other. The train goes for 1 stop, then 2, then we got off at the 3rd stop. "You live all the way out here? How did we even get together?"

"My sister took me out to a bar in town that night, and you must've been there for some reason. Is there any reason you could've been in town recently?" I start walking to the school.

"Hmmmm, it might be because one of my friends back from high school is here and we agreed to go out for drinks that night. It makes sense then, my bad."

"No need to apologize, it's not your fault. We're almost there." We continue walking another block and a half before we get there. "I'll go on in, if you want to wait here for a minute." I let go and started toward the door. I go in the door and walk to the receptionist desk, "Hey, I'm Y/n L/n here to pick up Morino."

"Sure thing, let me just....Ok, he's right down there sitting on the couch." She smiles as she talks to me, and I start to walk to the back. "Hey, come on. I'll walk you home." He stands up and starts walking to the door next to me. When we get to the door, we both wave bye to the receptionist and walk out. I smile when I see Kaminari and look down at Morino. "Am I in trouble?"

"That depends on what you did, but right now, we're gonna have a fun afternoon before we face your mother," I start, "I'm gonna introduce you to someone, and we're all gonna spend some time together." Kaminari brought himself into view and Morino's jaw dropped to the floor.

"Hey kid," he started and Morino started stuttering and getting all nervous and fanboy-y. "We're gonna go around town a little bit and then go home, right?" Kamiari looked to me for confirmation, I nodded 'yes' and he smiled. "How about some lunch first, yeah?" Me and Morino nodded yes to Kaminari's question and we started for a restaurant nearby.
