Gender reveal (pt. 1)

*Bakugou's POV*

"Hey, Kacchan. My girlfriend and I are having a gender reveal party."

"Wait...You have a girlfriend?" Bakugou says into the speaker of his phone. He clicks on the turning signal of his car.

"That's what caught your attention? Not the Gender reveal of our baby?"

"...What about it?"

"I'm inviting you and the whole Bakusquad to come."

"Why on earth would I care about that?" He yells, as Kirishima says something inaudible over the phone, "Fine, Eijiro and I will be there. But I'm not calling Raccoon eyes or soy sauce face!"

"That's fine with me, I'll call them. And I'll call Jiro too." Denki gets in as Bakugou hangs up the phone.

*Y/N's POV*

"Are they coming?" I ask as Denki pulls the phone away from his ear.

"Yes they are! But, I have to make a few more phone calls. Do you have anyone you want to invite?" He asks as he puts in another number.

I think for a moment, "No one I can think of. I mean, S/N should come, Kito and Morino should come, and.." I gasp and cover my mouth.

"What's wrong?" Denki puts a concerned hand on my shoulder.

"Nothing's wrong, but you haven't met my dad yet. He is going to both love and hate you at the same time." I smile at the image of him yelling.

I take out my phone and search my contacts. I found my dad's number and tapped 'call'.

"...Hey dad. I have a lot of news and I don't think you want to hear this through voicemail. Please call me back ASAP. It's your daughter, Y/N." I made sure the message was sent before I hung up the phone.

I put the phone down from my ear, and waited for Kaminari to finish his phone call.

"I have the whole squad coming. What about you? Did your dad answer?" I shake my head no at his question, "Oh, I'm sorry. Do you want Nichi and Amari to come?"

"Of course they're coming. I'd kill them if they didn't. And, they're gonna be the ones to decide how we reveal it, I should actually call them and tell them."

"They don't know?" I shake my head 'no' and I see his face transform into shock. I take my phone back out and dial Nichi's number. It rings a moment before she answers.

"Hello! How's maternity leave?" She picks up the phone. I can hear her panting as she talks, meaning they're at practice right now.

"Hey, It's going good. We recently went to the doctor to find out the gender. We want it to be a surprise, planned by you guys. You find out the gender and plan the party." I don't give her a chance to speak until I'm done talking.

"I'd love to. And Amari would, too. But practices moved to almost everyday now to catch the guys up on everything. I would totally do it otherwise!"

"I'll call coach and see if she can let you guys have the day off. Just keep catching them up."

"Will do! I'll let Amari know, too. She's helping them perfect spinning." I laugh at the image in my head, and hear Nichi laugh too.

"Alright I'll talk to you later. Bye!!" I heard a 'bye' back and hung up the phone. "I have to make one more phone call, I'll be right back." I dialed coach's number and walked to another room.

"Hello, Coach Suzuki's office. How can I help you?" I heard the robotic humanoid voice say after one ring.

"Hello! I'm calling to ask if Nichi and Amari can have Friday off from practice?" I wait about 30 seconds before she answers back.

"..Ok! That can happen as long as they're able to come in either in the morning or later in the evening instead."

"Great! I'll let them know. Thanks!" I hang up and dial Nichi's phone.

"Hey! What's the word?" She answers immediately.

"It's good. You can come here Friday as long as you come either early in the morning or later in the evening." She takes a second to respond.

"Wonderful! I'll start planning with Amari after practice tonight. If you could swing by at some point and bring the little envelope, it will make the whole process easier."

"I will later today so you can plan it."

"Wonderful! I'll see you soon!" She said into the phone. We both said our goodbyes and I hung up the phone. I walk back to the same room as before.
