Chapter 20

I'm sosososo sorry to the people who actually wait for my updates. I haven't been on Wattpad in forever so I didn't see messages and stuff that you guys sent me. School is giving so much crap that I don't have time for anything I enjoy. I'm trying guys!

September 20th 12:25 a.m.

Sonic POV:

My eyes flicker open, a light blinding me from above. Was I dead?

"Sonic!" Amy's voice boomed into my right ear.

Nope...

I sat up and looked at her. She looked as if she had been crying, but her face lit up with delight.

"Hey Ames..." I said still groggy.

"Oh Sonic! I'd thought you'd never wake up!" She quickly pulled me into hug, nearly squeezing me to death. I wondered, wake up from what? I started to recall moments that happened earlier.

I remember fighting with Mephiles, and finding out he was Iblis. He threw me around so many times that I lost consciousness....Wait, wait, wait, back up for a second. You're missing important details before that. Okay, so I remember fighting with Rachel, and having him show up. He called Rachel out using the name "Raven". Though, she still replied....Why would she reply if that wasn't her name? Then it hit me.
Is she telling us who she really is?

"A-Amy, you're killing me here..." I said, giving a quiet laugh. Amy immediately let go and apologized.

"Where's Tails?" I shifted in the bed due to being sore.

"He's with the G.U.N. Commander trying to find Shadow and Rachel. I also think there's four other girls too that are missing, but I'm not sure." Her face looked sorrowful as she said that.

My heart dropped when I heard they were missing. Especially Rachel... I did have some feeling for her, but I knew she wanted Shadow and not me. I didn't get why she liked him. He was always rude to me and everyone else.

When I heard him yell at Mephiles that he was her boyfriend, I felt as if I was going to cry. I had an idea that they liked each other from the party at Amy's. Though, I pushed that thought away.

I shot straight out of bed, ignoring the pain. I needed to find them.

"Sonic! You're gonna hurt yourself!"

"I don't care, I need to find our friends..." I looked at her sternly and headed towards the door.

She rolled her eyes and sighed, knowing she couldn't change my mind. "Be careful!"

I looked back and gave her a thumbs up with my signature smirk. "I will."

I ran out of the room and out the front door. I didn't notice till now that we were in tails' house. The pain was still there, but I pushed through it. I headed towards G.U.N. to meet up with Tails. This information could help him a lot.

Raven/Rachel's POV:

I yelled as loud as I could as Mephiles carried me, hoping they could still hear me. I pounded on his chest, kicked him, yelled at him. He wouldn't let me go. Finally, I gave up, knowing I wasn't going anywhere soon. I broke down and cried in my hands, wailing and sobbing while yelling for shadow at the same time. I wanted this nightmare to end.

We were going up some stairs, that I guess led up to the first floor, when I broke down. He immediately stopped and hugged me, trying to comfort me. He hushed me and stroked my hair, making me feel disgusted. I was too sad to push away, but I didn't accept him. I stood stiff in his embrace.
