Chapter 7

Shadows POV:

I got little sleep last night. Like every other night, I have the nightmare about that fatal night with Maria. every step, every moment, every detail, that same single gunshot. Nothing changes. But this night was different. The nightmare wasn't with Maria, it was with Rachel.

~Dream~

"Shadow! Please, just stop!" Her eyes were filled with tears and her arms were covered with blood and cuts. She didn't look like herself anymore, she was a Mobian. I could tell it was her by her sweet voice.

"I-I can't." I was on the ground trembling and griping my ears, trying to fighting back the anger and hate I kept in me all these years. I couldn't take it any more. "I'm sorry Rachel..."

I got up and stood my ground, about let it all out in one final blast. "forgive me." I took out my chaos emerald and with all this dark energy, I used chaos blast.

"SHADOW!" She grabbed me, trying to stop it. There was no going back. Everything went black, the only thing you could hear was her blood curdling scream.

~End of Dream~

I can't get up, the only thing I can do is sit here on this bed and think about this horrible dream. Why me?

Raven/Rachel POV:

I woke up with sunlight surrounding me from the window. I looked at the clock on the bed stand. 11:35! I need to get going. My legs hurt abit but not as bad as yesterday. I got up, closed the curtains, and went to the bathroom to do my usual morning routine. I brushed my hair and teeth. I parted ny curly hair to the right side. After washing my face I walked out of the room to go find the kitchen. I haven't ate since yesterday morning. I'm starving.

I stopped in the middle of the hallway and looked towards shadow's room. Keep going Raven. I walked down the stairs and turned left down another hallway.

About two doors down I saw the door open. I looked in and saw Tails working at his desk. I should ask him where the kitchen is. "Hey Tails." I leaned against the door frame.

Tails turned around in his chair. "Hey Rachel, do your legs feel better?"

" Yeah, a lot better. By the way, I was wondering where's your kitchen."

"It's back down this hall and up to the third floor. Oh and Amy's coming in about 15 minutes."

"Okay, thanks Tails."

I walked back down the hall and up the the stairs to the third floor. Finally. I looked around the kitchen for something to eat.I got a bowl out and went to the fridge to get some milk. I then found a box of cereal. I poured the milk and cereal in the bowl and sat down at the table.

~5 minutes later~

I put my bowl in the sink and looked at the clock. I had about 10 minutes or so left till Amy would get here. I felt bad about what happen last night, I just rejected him. He's probably still is upset about Maria and I just made it worse. ((I already know his backstory from playing his game)) I could at least make him some breakfast since he's bedridden. I got some bread and made some toast for him. I also poured him some orange juice. I put the toast on a plate and grabbed the glass cup. I ran down the stairs to his room. standing at the closed door, I took in a deep breath. Don't get attached, just go in and out.

I quietly knocked on his door. "Um, Shadow?"
"...come in..." He didn't sound happy but he wasn't mad. I opened the door and walked in.

" I brought you breakfast, If you were hungry. I felt bad for what happened yesterday so yeah...." I set down the glass and plate on the bed stand.

"Thanks..." He sat up on the bed and looked at me. "I'm sorry, it's just I'm- .... never mind, just I'm sorry."

Right then I heard a car horn from out side. "I'm here!!!" A girl voice yelled. It must be Amy.

"It's fine. I have to go but if you want I could come back later to help you walk a bit... If you want."

"I would like that," He smiled, "see you later."

With that statement I left. I ran down to the front door and put on my shoes. Let's go. I opened the door and saw Amy's car. It was a light pink with a wide pink stripe going down the middle of it. The seats were a tan color, so was the dashboard. Not my style.

"Hi Rachel!" She motioned me to come over.

I walked over and saw a young light brown bunny was sitting in the back seat.

"This is my friend Cream. You don't mind if she comes along, do ya?"

I opened the door and got in. "I don't mind. So, what's the plan for today?" I buckled myself in.

"First, we're going to the mall and then we're going to stop somewhere for lunch." She started the car and backed out the drive way. "Sounds great! Well let's get going."

My start of the second day in Mobious and I met about 5 people. Also I think I have hurt one's feelings. Well, this is kinda good...
