Commander POV:
"Shit," I mumbled under my breath, "I want every soldier to search the area, now!" I screamed at my men.

I watched them as they scurried to the cars and left. I pulled out my cell phone as I motioned the paramedics to take sonic to the hospital. I quickly dialed the number...

"Hello?!?" He frantically said.

"Brutus? What's wrong?" I asked not changing the tone of my voice.

"The news reporters are going crazy! They're coming in by the dozens! Have you found the girls yet?!?"

"Well, We found Raven, but then she disappeared again...with Shadow..."

"What! You need to find both of them and the 4 girls quick, 'cause we're running out of time here. The news reporters are already starting to question."

"We found out it wasn't Shadow, it was Mephiles. So we do have some kind of lead."

"So, Mephiles was the one who shot me..." He sighed and continued, " Just find them! I'll try to keep the news off this, but you need to hurry!"

I hung up with a sigh of frustration. There's no way we can find them in such little amount of time. Let's just hope they can get out themselves where ever they are...

Carly's POV:
After I found the air vent, we started to make a plan. We decided to wait till he came home, and then when he left again. We're doing this so we know we will have time to escape. Even though I wanted to leave right now, I knew we would be caught. I moved the couch back above the air vent so he wouldn't come in here and think we found a way out.

I looked over to Baylee who was still out. This one time, I wish that Baylee was picking on me right now. I wanted to make sure she was okay. I was interrupted by screaming and crying in the hallway. But there was two voices , one female and one male.

"Let...me...go!!" The deepish voice sounded as if he was struggling.

"Pleeaassse just let us gooo!...." The female was screaming and sobbing at the same time.

Immediately, I knew who that female was.

"Raven!!!!" I Screamed hoping she could hear me. I started to pound on the metal door with my fists, "Raven!! Raaveen!!" I was just about to give up when I finally heard a reply.

"CARLY??? YOU HAVE HER HERE!?! YOU BASTARD!!!" Raven started to scream at the top of her lungs but was still weeping slightly.

I continued to pound on the door with all my might...

The sound drowned out the footsteps I heard earlier. I didn't care though, I just wanted to see my best friend again.
Suddenly the door opened with so much force, that I had to jump out of the way of the doors path. Which ended me up landing on my butt. I looked up, assuming to see my same attacker. God, I wasn't expecting that...

He looked like Mephiles but at the same time, he was a totally different person. He was probably around 6 feet and he was in his crystal form. But instead of a gray color, the crystals were an orange color. Orange at the base, then turning red at the tips. His eyes weren't a bright green anymore, they were a flashy red. This new Mephiles was intimidating indeed.

He had Raven slumped over his shoulder, her face was facing the opposite direction of us, and...Shadow under his arm?!

"W-who are-" I was interrupted by him throwing Shadow beside me on the floor. He grunted and gave him an icy look as he got up into a fighting position.

Mephiles leaned in a bit and in the deepest voice, "Mephiles of course..." He made the creepiest smile, showing his sharp teeth. Suddenly, he snapped back into a perfect posture, with his shoulders back and his head straight forward, like nothing ever happened.
"Come now dear.." he swung Raven off his back and held her against his side, "we have some catching up to do.." He turned around with a smile and started to walk out.
"Let me go!!" She started to pound on his chest,"Shadow!!" She then reached out a hand towards Shadow.

Shadow immediately took chase after him towards the door, but he fell short. The door closed and Shadow started to pound and kick against it, kinda like I did earlier. "RAVEN!" He repeatedly shouted her name. You could hear her screams for me and Shadow getting further and further away, until there was just silence.

"Nonono..no..no..nooooo..." He slid down the door to his knees, "NO!" He gave the door one last hit.

I got up, looked back at my terrified friends, and walked up behind Shadow. I put my hand on his shoulder, hesitating at first. "I-it's okay...we'll get her back," He sighted and slowly got up with a bit of struggle, "Are you okay? You seem hurt.."

"I'm fine, just a bit sore..." He turned to face me. Well, look up towards me. "So you're Carly?"

"Y-yeah."

"We were looking for you all." he looked behind me at everyone else, "Well, by 'we' I mean G.U.N." Shadow tried to act calm but you could still tell he was angry. He then, got a glance of Baylee, who was still passed out.
Shadow made his way across the room to the bunk beds were she was laying. "Oh chaos, is she.." he checked her pulse and sighed, "Good, she's breathing. But, she probably needs medical help."

Suddenly, we heard him leave. It's time.

"Guy's we we need to go" said Emilee getting up from the couch along with Ashley. Ashley started to move the couch out of the way while me and Emilee started to grab Baylee.

"What are you guys doing?!" Shadow asked.

"Getting out. You're invited to join us, but we're going either way." Emilee said without looking up at Shadow. He looked at her and smirked.

"What can I do to help?"
