Chapter 3

Raven/Rachel POV:

Frozen in fear or caught in a trance, I couldn't figure out what one I was in. The eyes I was staring into were so cold and angry but softened after a second or two. They were a ruby color that you would expect in a gem. This felt like it lasted for hours as if they were the seconds just ticking by. Never in my life time would I think I would be staring into the eyes of Shadow The Hedgehog.

Shadow's POV:

I came here for a purpose and one purpose only, to get the chaos emerald back before Mephiles found it. If he found it he could reign over Mobius, forever. I just couldn't let that happen on my watch, so I left Mobius and headed for Earth. When I arrived my wristwatch said there is chaos energy in this high school, but it led me to this girl. As I came closer to her, our eye made contact . They looked so beautiful and fragile, yet so scared as if she saw her worst nightmare. The color was a dark brown that matched her hair. Her jaw dropped and her eyes widen as far as they could. I had to ignore this and concentrate on why I came here, to get that emerald.

"Were's the emerald?" I demanded.

"Y-you mean t-the chaos emerald?" She studered her words in a soft tone, while pulling out the chaos emerald from her book bag. How could this girl find it before me!

"I need it now." I grabbed it out of her hands and stepped back a few feet. "CHAOS CONTR-" Just before I finished, the girl clung onto me and we both were transported back to Mobius.

We both landed in the forest off to the side of town. She fell on top of me probably unaware of what to do in chaos control. Now I noticed what she looked like without being scared. Her hair was a little past shoulder length with highlights of some what looked gold. Skin was wasn't really tanned and her nails popped with colors of purple and blue. She was so beautiful and delicate. I can't believe I just took her out of her own world and I didn't even ask for her name! Man, how rude am I?

Raven/Rachel POV:

Where am I? Is this a dream? Am I dead? This is a dream! Please just pinch me! All these thoughts just went through my mind.

Then out of no were, Shadow pinched me and said "This isn't a dream."
