Chapter 4

Raven/Rachel POV:

I quickly got up and started to blush. "I-I'm sorry, but why did you pinch me?"

"You said 'somebody pinch me please' so I did." He got up after i did.

"I didn't say that." I argued.

"But you thought it." He crossed his arms. You could see that he was getting annoyed at this point. "Don't you know I can read minds?" He started to slowly walk away in the other direction.

"Well no. Where are you going?" I ran after him. I didn't get a response so i asked again. He still didn't answer or even look at me. " I asked you a question." Again he didn't say a word. "ANSWER ME!" I yelled at him and grabbed his arm.

He turned around and griped both of my arms really hard making me tense up. His eyes said it all, he was angry and didn't want to deal with this. "Did I ask you to come with me in the first place, I don't think so. I don't want a stupid human following me, under stand?"

I nodded in fear, hoping he wouldn't hurt me even more than my arms.

"You have to find your own way home without my help, so find some one else." He pushed me to the ground and turned back around and was about to speed off.

"Just to let you know the nearest town is about a mile that way." He pointed to a path that was lush with thorns. He raced off without saying another word.

"THANKS A LOT!" I yelled thinking he would hear me. I let out a sigh and got up from the dirt covered ground. Brushing off the lose dirt from my jeans, I remembered how far the town was. "A mile..." I mumbled. I started to head down the path trying to avoid the thorns but it was impossible, they started to cut my ankles and jeans. Every step was miserable.

*1 Hour Later*

Finally I got to the town, but it was almost dark out. You could almost see all the stars in the dark blue sky. Wincing at every step I eventually made it the center of the city and found a huge waterfall. I sat down on the edge and rolled up my jeans on my right leg. Taking my hand I cupped them together, filled them up, and pored it on my cuts. This place reminded me of my town back home, the waterfall, the shops, even the sidewalk looked the same.

My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of someones voice, "Would you want some help?"

I turned around and found myself looking at the famous blue hero, Sonic The Hedgehog. "Um, sure."

He came over and sat down beside me and looked at my legs. "Wow, what did you do?" He looked back up at me.

"I had to walk a mile through thorns just to get here." I said

"May I ask why? He rolled up my other pant leg.

"Shadow left me in the woods." I mumbled looking down at the sidewalk.

"Shadow?!? Why were you with him?" He looked scared as if Shadow was a killer or something.

"Its a long story..." I pushed back my hair and looked over to him. "Well this is kinda bad. I could take you to my friend's place and he could put some stuff on this. His name is-"

"Tails?" I cut off his sentence.

"Wow, how'd you know?"

" Lucky guess." I said.

"You know what, you never told me your name." He helped me up from were I was sitting and gave me a friendly smile. I actually got to see his emerald green eyes now since we were closer.

"Oh um, my name? My name is-" What am I thinking! I can start a new life here, I could change my name and people wouldn't even know. "It's uhh Rachel, Rachel." I started to blush.

"Well Miss Rachel, let me escort you there." He talk as if he was a gentlemen which made me giggle. Next thing I know, he picks me up bridle style. "Hold on!"

"Wait wha-" Next thing I know, we are racing through the town at the speed of sound.
