Chapter 15

Oh gosh! I'm slacking on this story, aren't I? Ugh. I've been busy with running and stuff. I'm gonna be even more busy when school starts in 2 weeks. BUT I WILL PREVAIL xD Anyways...be prepared for an awesome chapter! byeeeee! (Oh and I changed the story pic. I'm working on a new one tho.)

*8:32 A.M.*

Shadow POV:

I woke up to the 'beeping' of my wrist communicator. I move my arm to see who it is but notice it's under Raven. I try not to wake her as I wiggle my arm from under her. When I got my arm out I saw who it was; The G.U.N. Comander...

Please don't tell me I have to go to work today...

I sighed as I carefully got up and walked to the kichen. I leaned up against the counter and acepted the call. "Yes?"

"Good morning Shadow. How's your day off?"

"Cut to the chase."

"Fine. I need you to come to the HQ for a bit."

"Just a bit."

"30 minutes is all I need."

"Okay. I'll be there in 30."

I hung up and let out another sigh. Why today? I just wanted to enjoy my day off. I was going to hang with Raven and get to know her better. Well, that will have to wait I guess... Wait, I could make it even better...

~25 minutes later~

I took a note pad and a pen from a cabnit and wrote a note. I went back into the living room and put it on the coffe table. I looked over to Raven to see her snuggled up into the blanket. Her back was facing me and her messy hair was bassicly covering the whole pillow. I snikered at that. I stop once I heard her stir. Crap. She started to roll over in my direction. Right before she opened her eyes, I quickly ran into the garage and got on my bike. I put on my helmet and left.

Off to work...yipee....

Raven/Rachel POV:

I rubbed my eyes as I sat up. I looked around and remembered I was at Shadow's, but where is he? Then, noticing a peice of paper on the table, I picked it up. This might answer my question. I thought as I started to read...

Well good morning Raven~

I was called to work for a bit but don't worry, we can hang out afterwards. So I'll meet you downtown at the "Chao Café" around 9:40. Sit at the table by the bay window. I left you the keys to my Chevrolet on the counter, I hope you can drive! Oh and I made you pancakes for breakfast too. See you soon! ~Shadow T.H.

I smiled and put down the note. I walked to the kitchen and was hit by a heavenly smell. Walking over to a plate with two pancakes, I saw another note:

The syrup, butter, and drinks are in the fridge. The glasses are in the covert to the right of the stove. ~Shadow

I laughed as I started to get the stuff for my pancakes. I smeared butter on both and drenched them in syrup. I also poured my self a glass of orange juice. I sat down at the counter and grabbed a fork. Practically drooling, I took a bite.

"Mmmmm, Shadow is such a great cook!"

Once I was done, I put my plate in the sink and every thing away. I grabbed the keys, put my shoes on, and went to the garage.

I walked over to the car and got in. "Okay, you have a permit Raven. You can drive a car. Don't worry." Speaking to myself, I turned the car on.

I've got my permit about 4 months ago, but not a license! I've only driven my moms jeep, now I'm driving a Chevrolet. I just hope I don't kill myself on this ride...
