Chapter 23: house hunting

So we arrived at the destination of the first house that we were going to look at but No one was there. So we had to wait for the agent to get there before we did anything. I looked over at Care and she had this huge smile on her face.

B-"What are you smiling about?"

She looked at me and scotted over next to me.

C-"I could see us buying a house and having our family together. No one else stopping it. Just us being happy. Nothing to worry about and we could be just us."

B-"Care. I love you and we are going to have our perfect little family. No matter what happens."I said looking into her eyes. Her eyes started to water but only a single tear fell from her eyes. I whipped it away and kissed her. "How about we check out the front while we wait?"

C-"Sounds good to me!" She said moving back over to her side. I get out and walk around to her door. She opened it and i helped her out. Once she was out I shut the door and grabbed her hand. Then she intertwined our fingers together.

B-"What do you think of it so far just from the outside?"

C-"The color is ugly. I just got to say that."

B-"haha Carrie. If we like this house I will strip them all off and put new up just for you."

C-"Awe thanks babe." We both started laughing until the lady scared the living crap out of us.

R-"Hi!! Im Riley your real estate agent.!"

C-"Hi.."

B-"Hi.. I'm Brad Paisley and this is Carrie Underwood."

R-"Hi! Are you guys ready to check out houses today?"

C-"Yes!"

R-"Okay let's get started. This house has 4 bedrooms, 2 baths a small kitchen and a living room." She said as she unlocked the door.

Carrie looked at me and gave me a look. I knew what she was thinking right away because I was thinking the same thing. We walked through the house and checked it out. Way to small and so was the back yard.

R-"So what do you think?"

C-"Way to small."

B-"Agreed. We have two children and one on the way. Plus we need extra rooms for when we have our families stay. And we need alot more land to roam on."

R-"Alright I have an idea of what you want. Follow me in my car." She said walking over to her car.

I guided Carrie to the truck and helped her in. As I was getting Carrie gave me a weird look.

B-"What?"

C-"What if we can't find a house that we like.."

B-"Then we will build one."

C-"Really?"

B-"Yes. I will build you your dream house Care." I said smiling.

She scoots over to me and kisses me.

B-"Care, your going to kill me if you keep kissing me like that!" I said smiling

She smiles and kisses me again. Then she pulls back and gives me a wink. I turn away and start the truck. I backed out of the driveway and began to follow Riley. Carrie was about to move back over but I pulled her closer to me. She leaned forward and turned on the radio. She turned it just in time too because Remind me started playing. She turned it up and looked at me. I laughed and started singing my part.
