chapter 6: packing

We pulled into Brads driveway. It was almost 7 oclock at night. By the time Brad turned off the engine the boys were already out of the truck and racing around in the yard. I open the door to get out and as I stepped out I felt a pain in my stomach. It got worse when I tried to walk so I just stood there holding my stomach. Brad must of seen me because he came over and picked me up bridal style and carried me up to the house. When we got to the door I figured he would put me down to unlock it but he didn't. Once the door was open he walked me over to the couch and set me down on it. I had butterflies in my stomach when he Set me down because his face was so close to my face that we were centimeters apart. But He backed away after we gazed into each others eyes for at least a minute and went to the door and called the boys in from playing outside. once they were in the boys came over to me and sat right next to me.

C-"Thanks Brad for helping inside.."

B-"No problem Carrie! Now boys we have to pack up most of our stuff . okay?"

J-"okay! Aunt Carrie can you help me please???!?!"

C-"sure Jasper!"

J-"yay!! Race you up the stairs Huck!!!"

As the boys raced up the stairs I slowly stand up. And start to walk to the stairs. But before I can start climbing the stairs Brad comes over and scoops me up bridal style again and carries me up the stairs.

C-"Thanks Brad! But you know I could have made it up here on my own."

B-" I know but I'm suppose to be taking care of you and not letting you being in pain is part of it."

I turn and look at him in the eyes as he's caring me up the stairs and smile. He smiles back at me. Man his eyes are amazing! I can't help but not melt into them.. After  he got to the top of the stairs he carries me into Jaspers room.

B-" ok here you go. Heys Jasper if she's in any pain just call me ok?"

J-"okay daddy!!"

I start to feel my cheeks get hot and I turned so Brad couldn't see me. Once in he's gone I turn and walk to Jaspers closet and grab his cloths and luggage bags and set them on the bed. I sit down and start folding his cloths neatly while Jasper is grabbing his toys and putting them into a huge bag that he got from under his bed. Once all his cloths are packed I set his luggage's in the middle of the room. Once we finished packing in his room, Jasper and I walk over to Hucks room.

H-"Aunt Carrie will you help me?"

C-"Sure! I'll fold your cloths and you pack your toys.."

Once we got started we were done within 15 minutes. After all that standing and walking I needed to sit down and take a break. So I go and lay on Hucks old bed and relax. The boys soon end up joining me and lay beside me till brad walks in.

B-"Well I see you guys are done packing. Are we ready to pack the truck an head to carries?"

J-"YES!!!! Is Ace coming with us?!?!"

C-" Yes! I don't want to leave him there with Mike."

B-"Okay well boys help me put this in the truck so we can go."

Jasper and Huck both jump out of bed and start to grab there stuff. I sit up and got out of bed. I grab the rest of Huck and Jaspers stuff and walk down the stairs slowly. By the time I make it down stairs the boys come back racing back in the house with brad soon behind them.

H&J-"AUNT CARRIE!!!! Were hungry!!"

C-"well how about we  get some food after were done then"
