chapter 24: the house

So Carrie and Brad bought the house that they lobed so much. But they had a lot to do before they moved in. It was two weeks before Christmas so its a time cruncher trying to get everything done in a week so they could start planning for families visiting. They have already picked out new paint colors and some decorations for the house. Well just mostly the Bathrooms. Carrie is currently at the house with Miranda and Brad and Blake are taking the kids to school.

C-"Okay are you ready to start painting?"

M-"Yes. I'm excited for this! What color is this room going to be?"

C-"dark blue. Its yours and Blake's room whenever you guys stay over."

M-"Omg really!!!! Awe thank you!"

C-"Well your my best friend and you need a room. Plus Brad agrees. Luke and Caroline get a room too."

M-"Love you girl! Now lets get started before the guys get here and say we did nothing."

C-"Haha yes!"

I said helping Miranda open the paint and stirring it. Then we dumped it into a tray and started painting.

M-"So what are you getting Brad for Christmas?"

C-"I'm thinking a new car sense he's into them so much!"

M-"That's a good idea! What kind?"

C-"That's my problem.. I have no idea what kind of car he wants."

M-"I've got an idea. I can get Blake to find out!"

C-"Omg would you please?! I don't want to get him a car that he doesn't want or already has.."

M-"yeah."

C-"What are you getting Blake?"

M-"hunting stuff. He's been wanting new guns and I know exactly what kind he wants and needs."

C-"Cool! What do you want for Christmas?"

M-"Something that represents Blake and I. What do you want?"

C-"To see my family."

M-" Awe that's sweet!"

C-"yeah. Brad an I already finished shopping for our families. Just got a couple of people to do and that's it."

M-"Blake and I are already done!"

About a half hour later they finished the first layer of paint in the room. Miranda already did that bathroom yesterday so now they could move on to the next room.

C-"What's taking them so long?! I want my coffee!"

M-"haha you and your coffee!"

C-"What? I can't help it! I'm craving some coffee!"

M-"haha! Let's listen to some music!"

C-"OK! Hey it better be good girl!" I said laughing. Then I froze. "good girl" that could be a song. I wen tover to my phone and put it into my notes. And went back to painting. Miranda and I jammed out to some music for and hour till we thought we heard the door open. We had just finished the room too so we put everything down and shut the lids to the paints then went out into the kitchen where the boys were standing. They brought coffees and donuts. I ran over and grabbed a coffee and started drinking it. After I put it down everyone was staring at me.

C-"What? I was craving some coffee!"

M-"A lot."

Bl-"Care you've got a problem with coffee just like Luke."
