Chapter 28 meeting the family

So we arrived at the airport. I had Huck on one hip and Jasper on the other. Brad was carrying flowers for my mom and sister which he insisted on buying. We made our way to the gate for his parents which wasn't far from my sisters and waited.

B-"Carrie are you sure you don't wan time to help you?"

C-"no I got them.. Your on flower duty." I said laughing.

B-"Haha."

C-"What time is it?"

B-"4:10"

C-"my sisters flight should be here anytime now."

B-"Okay do you want to go over there and wait and I'll stay here?"

C-"Yeah. Which one wants to stay with dad while I go over there?"

H-"I will."

C-"okay." I said setting Huck down. "We will be back."

B-"Is that a threat?" He said laughing.

c-"Maybe!" I said walking over to him. He leaned in and kissed me. Then I walked over to my sisters gate.

J-"What's your sisters name?"

C-"Stephanie. You can call her aunt Steph."

J-"Okay!"

We waited about ten minutes before they started unloading passengers. I stood there waiting with Jasper clinging to me as I held him. Lots of people started to recognize me and asked for autographs and pictures. I said only a few auntographs no pictures. So I signed until I seen my sister get off the plane

C-"Steph!!

S-"Carrie!" She said running over to me with my niece. She gave me a big hug but her smile faded when she seen the scratches. "Carrie what happened?"

J-"Kim came to my school and took Huck and i . mommy and Kim got into a big fight."

S-"Oh Carrie. Did you kick her butt?"

C-"somewhat till she was on top of me. But we can talk about that later. Let's go over to Brad." I said grabbing her hand with my free hand. We walked over to Brad who was still waiting for his parents to get off the plane.

S-"Hey Brad! Long time no see!"

B-"Yeah! Here I bought you some flowers!" Be said handing them to her

S-"Awe thanks Brad! You didn't have too!"

B-"I wanted too. Carrie I got a call from the hospital about you know what." He said looking at my stomach

C-"what? What did they say?"

B-"We could come in tomorrow and do it."

C-"but I thought we had to wait till.."

B-"I guess not.."

S-"What are you talking about?"

I looked at Brad and he shook his head yes.

C-"I'm pregnant.."

S-"Omg Carrie! Congrats! You and Brad are going to make great parents again!"

I looked down..

B-"we don't know who the father is yet... "

S-"Oh.."

C-"You can't tell anyone.."

S-"I won't. Do you want me to watch the kids? I don't mind."

B-"thank you."

J-"mommy I'm hungry.."

C-"How about we go out to eat after grandma and grandpa get here."

J-"Yes!!"

B-"Actually here they come." He said looking at the door. "Mom, dad over here."

M-"Hey!!!"

B-"hi mom" he said hugging her "Hi dad"

D-"Hey son."

M-"Omg Carrie! You look amazing! And so does you sister!"

C&S-"Why thank you!"

B-"Mom this is Stephanie. And that's her daughter Ally."

M-"Hi guys!"

A-"Hi."

C-"We should get moving before more people recognize us or we will never get out of here."

B-"Yeah. Let's get the luggage first."

We all started walking towards the luggage area. Brad and I tried to stay hidden which I think was working because nobody was coming up to us. When we arrived at the luggage area someone came up behind me and tapped me on my shoulder. I turned around and stopped dead. I couldn't believe who it was. It was Mikes sister Dawn.

D-"You bitch!"

C-"Dawn.. What.. What are you doing here?"

D-"Well what do you think. I'm going to see my brother that you put in jail for a year because he rapes you and I hope you know that you deserved it you sluty bitch!"

B-"Back off right now before I get you kicked out."

D-"Oh sending your asshole after me now huh? I'm not scared of you. You think your all that but your not. She's a sluty mistress."

I set jasper down and pushed him over to Brads dad. Then I looked back at Dawn. I was getting pissed off.

C-"Okay you listen here. I'm not going to let you call me a sluty mistress or Brad an asshole. We did nothing to you. Your brother is the one that forced me to marry him. He's the asshole and where he is now is where he belongs."

That's when Dawn slapped me across my face almost knocking me over. Brad caught me from fall I g and helped me get my balance back.

B-"Don't you Dare touch her again!"

D-"Oh get over yourself. There's my luggage. See you later slut." She said walking off I put my hand to my face where the stinging was.

B-"Care are you okay?" He said moving my hand out of the way and stroking my hurting cheek.

C-"Yeah. Thank you for sticking up for me.."

B-"Care I will always stick up for you because you are my best friend and the women I loved. Truly I just wanted to punch her in the face for calling you that."

C-"Me too. Brad, I don't know what I would do without you. I love you."

B-"I love you too Care." Then he leaned in and kissed me.

H&J&A-"Ewwwwwww!!!"

We both pulled away laughing

M-"You guys are adorable. Now let's go home before we run into her again."

C-"Agreed."

J-"Mommy. Will you carry me?"

C-"Of course baby boy. Come here."

He walked over to me and put his arms out to be held. I scooped him up and set him on my hip. Then I grabbed one of my sisters bags and walked out of the airport. We had Brads driver come with the extra car so we could fit everyone. All the luggage was piled into the truck only leaving one seat open in the back.

C-"Alright boys. Who's riding where?"

H-'im riding with grandma."

J-"I want to stay with you.

C-"Okay go get in then." I said walking to Jasper's side and putting him in his booster seat. We told the family our goodbyes for now and got in the truck. Soon we were on our way home.
