Brads prov

After dinner I asked my mom if she could take care of the boys for me so I could take care of Carrie. She said she would. We were all in the kitchen. It was quiet. No one said a word to each other. Not even at dinner. So I grabbed Carries hand and pulled her upstairs to our bedroom. She didn't say a word. She just stood there staring at the floor. I picked her up bridal style and laid her on the bed. Then I laid next to her. I pulled her onto my chest and started playing with her hair for awhile.

C-"Brad?"

B-"Yeah?"

C-"I'm scared."

B-"Its okay. I'm right here. He won't ever touch you again. I promise." I said kissing her forehead.

C-"I don't ever want to see him again."

B-"And you don't have to."

C-"why is he taking Mikes side. He rapped me. And my own father doesn't even care." She said crying

B-"I will never understand your father. But he isn't here now. So let's get some sleep because we have to do you know what when the boys are asleep."

C-"Okay.. I love you Brad.".

B-"And I love you too Carebear." I said shu5ting my eyes and drifting off to sleep

Christmas morning

Brads prov

I was awaken to the boys jumping up and down on the bed.

H-"Come on! Get up!!"

J-"Santa came Santa came!!"

I open my eyes and look at the boys. Then I look next to me to see Carrie was gone.

B-"Alright I'm up. I'm up.. Where's your mother?"

J-"Mommy's in the kitchen."

B-"Alright." I said getting up and out of bed. I went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth. I came out to find Huck standing on the bed waiting. "piggy back ride?" I asked smiling.

H-"Yes please!"

I walked over to the bed and turned around. Once he was on my back I walked out of the room and down the stairs

B-"morning dad."

D-"morning son. You know your sons were up bright and early this morning.".

B-"oh really?" I said setting down Huck

D-"Yup. I caught them sneaking around down stairs" he said laughing "They remind me of you!"

B-"Haha couldnt help it!" I said walking into the kitchen.

Carrie was alone in the kitchen standing at the kitchen sink looking out the window. I walked up behind he and wrapped my arms around her. She didn't turn around or even look at me. She just stood there looking out the window.

B-"Care what's wrong?"

C-"Just thinking..."

B-"About what?"

C-"Us." She said turning around.

B-"Good or bad?" I said raising an eyebrow

C-"Good." She said smiling and wrapping her arms around my neck. "I was just thinking about our future and what it would be like. You, me, Huck, Jasper and our little one. We would go on tour together with them and go do things none of us has done before. Maybe you and me would be married then."

B-"oh really?"

C-"Yes really. What do you see?"

B-"you me, and the kids going on tour together a lot more. Maybe evening having another baby after this one. And possibly married."
