I’m working on being more supportive and helpful with Cole. I think I’m doing pretty good. The alcohol and weed and cigerettes temp me every day but I have some will power. These babies and Cole are my will power, if I get on that shit again who knows if I will be able to stop. I don’t want my kids growing up with a dead beat dad. Cole is going to be amazing with our babies but I’m not so sure about myself. I was still laying down by him and rubbing his stomach, the babies were moving. Thankfully not enough to keep Cole awake. I need to make sure I keep him happy and calm so these babies stay in as long as they can. The doc said that the one in front was keeping the one in back from growing as much. That baby not growing at the rate they should means that baby might end up with some kind of disability. I’m scared for that. I mean dealing with the babies will be hard enough but dealing with the babies and one need more than the other is going to be crazy. I should get some other job, we are going to need a lot of money for these guy. I kissed Cole’s forehead before getting up and going upstairs.

“Hey, how’s Cole?” Aiden asked when I went into the living room and started helping pick up the wrapping paper.

“He’s fine, had an accident though.”

“Shit, for real? Like he peed himself or something?”

“Yeah, he was really embarrassed about it. So don’t tell him I told you. He was getting worked up about it and everything. Just don’t mention it. Shit, I shouldn’t have told you… he’s going to freak out if he find out.” I stopped picking up wrapping paper and got up and put my hands behind my head and sighed.

“Hey, calm down. You know I won’t say anything. Everyone is trying to behave more because we know the complications with the babies and with Dad… well we know the story about the twins. Everything is just… so crazy right now. I mean we are fifteen, you’re sixteen. We shouldn’t be dealing with this right now.” Aiden sighed and sat down putting his head in his hands. I sat by him and patted his back.

“Sorry, I mean for my part in all this. But you guys get a new little brother or sister and niece’s or nephew’s or both. You guys won’t have to do anything for them other than play with them. I mean, that’s a pretty sweet deal. I know it’s all stressful, believe me, but it is all hopefully going to work out. Damn it, I need a smoke, or weed.” Aide looked at me and frowned. “Chill, I quit all that. It’s just getting harder to not go to it when I need it. A smoke would help me so much right now but if Cole smelt it on me, he’d cut my balls off.” Aide laughed and nodded.

 “He would.”

 “Hey, where’s everyone?”

“Oh, you know. My sister went to see her boyfriend and girlfriend and Bent went to his room to read the new books he got and the twins are watching the Disney movies they got up in El’s room. They left me to clean this up myself. Gramps should be here soon though with Grandma, Mia and Callum.” I nodded and we got back to cleaning up the living room. This Christmas just started and it’s already the best Christmas. I mean I’ve been with my adoptive parents for two years now but the Christmas’s with them weren’t all that great. If I was there right now we wouldn’t even be up and when I got up they would’ve only given me socks and money anyways. I got clothes, a new lip and eyebrow ring from Seth and Tyler and a new iPod. It was really nice of them to even get me anything. I got a new tongue ring from my baby, beanie and a tank that said Best Daddy Ever, and I admit, I got a little teary eyed. And I got him some t-shirts and I got some sleepers for the babies, white of course and they were so tiny, he cried. I also got him a telescope, he loves his stars.

“Knock, Knock!” Micheal said well walking into the house.

“Gramps, you actually knock. You don’t just say it.” Aiden said well picking up the last of the wrapping paper. Micheal came into the living room with a big smile on his face, holding a bag of gifts.
