Chapter 5

P.O.V/ Nicole Henderson:

It's been about two and a half weeks since the fight in Jacob's skyscraper which resulted in Kevyn breaking Carly's arm. After we left the building My mom drove Kim and Carly to the hospital to get a cast put on her arm. I went with them while Dad and Eric went home. Riley had to go home with Jesse and Brandon. The doctors examined Carly's arm and discovered a big crack in the middle of the radius bone so they put a cast on her arm that starts at her knuckles and stops at her elbow. The doctors asked how she broke her arm and Carly told them that she told them the truth that she got into a fist fight while she was out with me and the others at the haunted house. She told them she went to go wash her hands in the bathroom outside which was that building we went behind and teleported to my house. Carly said while she washing her hands at the sinks a group of older teen girls walked in and demanded that she gave them her money. She said while in the middle of the fight she slipped in the water on the floor and landed on her arm. They asked where Kim and Mom's injuries came from and Kim told them that when her and my mom showed up to get us that those teen girls jumped them too. They believed it thank god. Kim got stitches above her right eyebrow, Carly had to get five in her forehead from Kevyn smashing her face into the bathroom mirror and the doctors examined her ribs finding three cracked and one broken. The bad thing about having broken or cracked ribs is that the doctors can't do anything to fix them they have to heal on their own. Today is November 18, 2010 it's mine and Eric's sixteenth birthday our parents are having our party at our house. We have a back deck like Jacob's my Dad is grilling some hamburgers on the grill for everyone while we hang out on the deck and in the backyard. Me, Riley, Carly, Dani, Sam, Valerie, Jenny, Cheyenne, Eric, Shelby, Mason and Mikayla are hanging out in the yard the adults are on the deck. Me, Riley, Sam, Carly, Dani and Valerie are sitting at a wooden picnic table while the others stand around it signing Carly's white cast. Mikayla is bent down on one knee in front of Carly as she writes her name on the cast. She hands the permanent marker to Mason and he gets down on one knee gently holding Carly's small arm in his left hand as he signs his name with his right hand. Mason stands up and lays the marker on the table He said " Isn't that the hand you write with?" Carly said " Yeah which sucks I have someone write for me". I start feeling a little weak and dizzy so I start walking up to the deck. As I get inside my Mom is standing in the kitchen with Kim. You can now see a scar where she had stitches. My Mom said " Are you alright?" I said " Yeah I think I need to go ahead and take my dose". She said " Sure go ahead". I walk pass them and through the living room where I turn left into the hallway and up the stairs to my room. I open my door and close it behind me as I walk in. I walk over to my dresser that has a mirror attached to it and pick up the bottle of pills sitting in front of the mirror. I twist the cap and pour out four red pills. I put them in my mouth and pick up a bottle of water from earlier taking a drink to swallow the pills. I sit the bottle back down and see dark lights swirling in the mirror behind me. I see Alex appear from the dark lights I snatch a dagger off the top of the dresser and throw it at her.

She holds her hand out and a dark light shield comes out of her hand and the dagger hits it stopping it from hitting her. The shield comes down and the dagger starts to fall she catches it and I swing a punch at her. She catches my hand and twists my arm making me put my back against her chest as she holds the dagger in front of me. She said sarcastically " Nice see you too asshole". I said " You know you aren't welcome here anymore". She said " What? I can't tell you happy birthday". I said " You lost that privilege". She growls in anger and throws me on the bed I land on my stomach and turn over quickly to get up. When I do she holds up her hand and starts closing it slowly I feel pressure on my throat and my body is pushed back down on the mattress by her using her telekinesis. I can't get free because she has me pinned. Alex climbs on top of me straddling my waist she stops choking me and holds the blade of the dagger to my throat I'm starting to panic. I whispered " Alex please... it's my birthday"... She sees tears in my eyes and I just see something inside of her change. She lays the dagger down on the bed beside us but stays on top of me. Alex whispered " I'm not here to do that again... I want you to decide if that happens"... I whispered " It's not happening ever.." Alex's face is inches away from mine. She whispered " Please baby... I want you so bad..." Her lips are inches away from mine I swallow nervously and whispered " The answer is no Alex... please stop"... She whispered " Fine I'm not gonna force you"... She gets off of me and stands up as I raise up from the bed she pulls something out of her pocket. She lays it on the dresser and looks down at it. I'm watching her in the mirror She whispered" I wanted you to have this.... I don't deserve it anymore.." I see tears fall from her ocean blue eyes she starts teleporting and dark lights swirl on her as she disappears. I get up from the bed and walk over to the dresser. I see a silver chain with a thin silver heart shaped locket on the front it says Alexandra her first name. I pick up the locket and examine it I had this made for Alex on her fourteenth birthday. I open it and on the right side there is a quote engraved inside it says " I've never been so scared of losing something in my entire life, then again nothing in my life has ever meant to me as much as you do... Love, Nicole". I'm crying as I read it I'm so sorry for how things ended up but I've moved on with Riley cause the Alex I knew and loved is dead... I miss who she was before she died and she isn't here anymore... I hear a gentle knock on the door and I wipe the tears off my face and said " Come in". The door opens revealing Riley. She sees my face and her facial expression turns to worry. She said as she walked up to me " Baby are you okay?" I said " Alex was just here". Her eyes flare with anger She said " Did she hurt you?" I said " Surprisingly no but she left me this". I hold up the locket showing her. She examines it closely then said " I'm surprised she even gave that back to you". I said as I held it in my hand " She knew how much it once meant to me and how much it meant to the real Alex.. She said that she didn't deserve it anymore".. Riley has a shocked expression on her face; She said " Evil Alex showed you her emotions?" I said " Yeah I couldn't believe it either". I realized that it's almost time to cut the cake. I said " Are they ready for the cake yet?" She said " Not yet I heard your Dad say about twenty minutes though too bad I can't give you a present for your birthday". She winks me and I catch her drift. I said " We could have a quickie like we did at camp". Riley looks over at the bed then looks back at the door making sure it's closed. We walk over to the right side of the bed by the window. Good thing my window is too high up for everyone to see in the backyard. I'm standing in front of her as she reaches around and unbuckles my belt she undone my blue jeans pulling down the zipper. She moves my hair off my left shoulder and starts kissing my neck softly I feel my pants sliding down to my knees Riley pulls down my panties to pants while she kisses me. All a sudden I feel her pushing a nine strap on inside me while I'm standing up. I whimper at the pressure of the penetration as I stretch around it slowly. I hear her growl in pleasure and pull my hair making my head go back as she continued pushing it deeper. I hear her breathing getting heavy. She groans in pleasure feeling me around it. Riley said in my ear " You like that in there?" I whimpered " Yes..." by the way she doesn't have it in my ass cause that's just gross and violating. She made me bend over the bed where she wore me out letting me have it while she kept her hand over my mouth to silence me. Afterwards we went back downstairs to join the party. We walked out on the back porch and my mom is leaned up against the wooden railing she smiles at us with a look like you're not fooling me I know what you were doing. We both blush at her and my Dad walks out with the cake in his hands He walks carefully over to the right on the deck where a glass outdoor table sits. He carefully sits the cake down on the table one side is mine and the other side is Eric's. My side is black icing with a martial arts cake topper that says Nicole with a 16 candle in front it. The topper is white with two men throwing kicks at each other; Eric's is a black cake topper with a 16 candle in front of it but the icing is blue and there is a male football player with a football in his hand. I was in a martial arts class for years since I was six and I learn karate, wrestling, kickboxing, boxing and Jiu-Jitsu over those years and I finished the class a few months ago I got too old to continue classes it was for kids ages 6-16. I wasn't planning on be an mixed martial arts fighter all though I could start at eighteen but I have too much to worry about now so I'd rather not get into it. So yes I could go all Jackie Chan on you if I wanted to and being half vampire just makes those abilities even better which is the reason why I was able to learn all that at such a young age. After the party was over everyone went home Riley had to go home to because it's a school night so I will see her tomorrow. I decided to take the locket to Alex's grave I look at the time on my alarm clock it's 6:30 pm. I put it in my pocket and walked downstairs into the living room where I find mom and dad sitting on the couch watching TV together. I said to them " Can I go somewhere right quick?" My Mom said " Where?" I pull out the locket and said " Earlier today when I went to go take my dose Alex showed up in my room and left me this". My mom gets up and walks over to me I look up at her and She said " Did she?.." She stops talking I said " No she just talked to me then left the locket". I hand her the locket and she looks at it and has a stunned look on her face.
