Chapter 29

P.O.V/ Nicole Henderson:

Last time me, Riley, Sam and Valerie got married officially in New York city, Afterwards they took us over to Niagara Falls where a photographer took pictures of us in front of the falls. The pictures are so beautiful I can't even begin to describe. Riley looked so gorgeous in that dress so did Valerie we all looked amazing. It's hard to believe that I'm a married woman especially at seventeen. I couldn't believe it when I saw that paper neither could Riley who by the way is now known as Mrs. Riley Henderson now and Valerie is known as Valerie Roberts now. Going to school today is gonna be different our marriage was in the newspaper but not everybody reads the paper anymore. Today is Friday May 4, 2012 and it just so happens to be Dani's seventeenth birthday. Even though Riley and I are married now we still have yet to find our own place we are waiting until we turn eighteen to do that plus we still need to save up more money for a place. I'm driving to school about three minutes away when I have to stop for a red light. I push the clutch in with my left foot as I release my right foot from the accelerator, I move the shifter into neutral as I release the clutch and apply the brake pedal with my right foot slowly bring the car to a stop at the red light. I hear the sound of an engine roaring I look over at a black dodge Mopar with a blue stripe on the hood pulling up beside me. The window comes down and Riley said " Come here often beautiful?" She smiles at me as I smile back. I follow her all the way up the road that leads into the back parking lot of the school. If we were to race hers would out run my mine because it goes 160 mph and mine goes 142 mph. We pull into the back parking lot and park beside each other shutting off our cars. We both get out closing the doors behind us and meet at the back of my car. I said " There is my beautiful wife". She smiles and pulls me into a soft kiss. As we kiss we hear the sound of familiar engine roaring as it enters the back parking lot. We have stopped kissing and looked over at Sam pulling her black dodge Mopar with a red stripe up beside my car in the next parking spot over. The car shuts off as she turns the key and the doors open revealing Sam and Valerie getting out with their backpack. They walk over to us and Riley said " Well hello Mrs. Roberts". She smiles at Valerie and she smiles back at her. She said " Hello to you Mrs. Henderson". Sam has her arm around Valerie's neck she kisses her softly on the lips. Dani, Carly, Jenny and Cheyenne come walking up from the middle of the parking lot where they parked their cars. Eric, Shelby, Mason and Mikayla are standing beside us in front of Eric's 2012 black Honda Ridgeline truck and Mason's 2012 Lincoln Navigator that is custom with black rims and paint a black hyper gloss beside his car is Mikayla's grey 2012 Honda Civic. Shelby has a car but it's in the shop it is a dark grey 2012 Kia Optima. Later on that day it's third period time for Gym class with Kelly and Kevyn. This year they have decided to put juniors in gym class with us seniors so Dani and Carly got put in our gym class Cheyenne and Jenny got put in a different one. After putting on our maroon shirts and black basketball shorts we head upstairs. Where Kelly and Kevyn have planned for everyone to play Dodgeball with the small foam colored balls. They separated the class between the red and the blue team as you can guess Alex, Lakein, Drew, Mandy and Brandy are on the red team with the other students while me, Riley, Sam, Valerie, Dani, Carly, Mason, Mikayla, Shelby and Eric are on the blue team. Everyone is throwing the balls either dodging them or getting them out when I see Mandy launch one headed for Dani she ducks and it hits the floor behind her. Soon there are dodge balls coming from different directions at Dani as she dashes through dodging them. Mandy is right beside the line on the gym floor separating us she smacks Dani on the butt and smiles wickedly as Dani turns around looking up at her with a glare. But Carly sees this and shoves Mandy in the shoulder hard enough to make her move back a step. I heard Carly say " Keep your hands off my fiancée bitch".. This pisses Mandy off and she catches a ball and launches it hitting Carly in the back of the head. I'm too busy dodging balls thrown by Alex and Lakein who have me ganged up on me like always. Carly turns around and Mandy said sarcastically " Looks like I got you out short stack. Now your girlfriend is all mine". She winks at Dani and licks her lips. Carly flips her off and said " Sit on it and spin bitch". Mandy swings her fist and punches Carly in the jaw hard blood flings out the side of her mouth as she hits the floor on her back as Mandy comes down throwing a punch. I take off dashing across the floor but I am stopped by the crowd of students blocking the way. Mandy is on top Carly she goes to hit her again and Carly brings up her leg kicking Mandy in the middle of the back making her fly forward hitting the floor rolling. Kelly and Kevyn are pushing through the students to break them up. Mandy jumps to her feet as Carly takes off running at her and tackles her into the brick wall missing the protective padding on the wall. Mandy exclaims in pain as her back hits the wall. Carly exclaims in anger as she swings vicious punches at Mandy's face and torso. Mandy quickly bends down and rams her shoulders into Carly's ribs sending her flying backwards off her feet and directly into Kevyn's arms but Carly slips from her grip and goes for Mandy again who Kelly has restrained with her hands pinned behind her back as Mandy thrashes against her. Kevyn snatches Carly up from behind in a bear hug. Kevyn said " Alright!! break it up!!" They stop trying to go after each other. Kevyn has her hands on Carly's shoulders but Carly uncomfortably shifts out of her grip looking up at her with a glare. Kevyn puts her hand on Carly's neck from behind and said " Come on short fuse". Kelly sees Kevyn holding Carly by the back of her neck and walks up to her. She said " Let go of her... right now".. Kevyn scoffs and lets her go and Kelly walks Carly to the principal's office while Kevyn takes Mandy. Vikram suspends them for five days a whole week. Carly's mouth and nose was busted pretty bad and Carly nearly broke Mandy's nose but Mandy was bloodied up pretty good herself. Don't fuck with short girls they will jump on you like a spider monkey. I have seen Carly angry before but Mandy fucked with Dani and that sent Carly over the edge. Kim wasn't mad at Carly because she didn't start the fight. But she wasn't thrilled that Carly fought Mandy in school. Later on that day after school was over everyone went over to Jacob's house where he is having a small party for Dani in the backyard surrounded by the huge privacy fence. Remember when my dad slept with Kim? this is the same backyard where my mom and Kim got into a fight. After cake Dani started opening her presents. Jacob bought her a new upgrade for her iPhone 5. Carly has a blue colored box in her hand she opens it and picks up the silver chain that says Dani with two hearts behind the D and a heart above the I at the end. It's so cute Dani smiles and said " It's so beautiful.. thank you baby girl". Carly said " You're Welcome".. She opens the lock and reaches up as Dani raises her dirty blonde hair off her neck as Carly puts it on her. Dani is smiling down at her as Carly smiles back. She puts her hand on Dani's face and pulls her into a soft kiss. They look at each other and Dani said " I love you so much beautiful".. Carly said " I love you more gorgeous".. She winks at Dani and she blushes a bit. All a sudden there is a look in Dani's eyes she is feeling something. Carly notices this and said " What is it?" Dani said " We have trouble coming". The sound of a familiar voice catches everyone's attention " Having a party without me I see". We look over at Mandy and Brandy standing there in the grass above the pool that is directly in the middle of the yard. Dani sees her and said " Get the fuck out of here!" Mandy said " Oh feisty?? I like'em feisty". She winks at Brandy as they cackle evil. Carly sees Mandy and walks around the pool and up on the grass where they are standing with Dani beside her. Carly said " You've got some balls coming here". Mandy said as she looked down at Carly " What?? I can't come visit the birthday girl". She goes to put her arm around Dani and she shoves it away. Carly said " Don't touch her.. what is your deal with her??" Brandy walks around and stands beside Carly putting her arm around her as Mandy puts hers around Dani. Mandy said " I thought the four of us could have some fun together?" She is talking about swinging which means switching partners. Carly exclaims in disgust as she shoves Brandy off her. Dani goes to do the same but when she does. Mandy pulls out a Glock 19X a black and silver handgun. She places it under Dani's chin as she shakes. Carly has her hands up. Jacob said " Let them go!" Brandy pulls out the same gun and points it at Jacob he is standing in the grass in front of the deck and the bottom of the pool where Carly and Dani were standing. Dani said " Don't!! please don't shoot my dad"... Mandy said " Then come with us both of you". They look at each other then Carly quickly flings her arm at Brandy sending her flying over the brick wall and splashing into the pool. Mandy fires the gun at Carly who quickly throws her hand up freezing the bullet in mid air right in front of her face it drops to the ground. Dani elbows Mandy in the ribs and she drops the gun. Dani takes Mandy's arm and flips her over her back making Mandy hit the grass on her back. Brandy comes up from the water and sees the rest of us running up to help them. Brandy holds her hands out and releases force fields blocking both ways up to the grass above the pool. She laughs wickedly meanwhile Carly and Dani are ganging up on Mandy. Dani leaps into the air using her Levitation power and kicks Mandy right under her chin sending her flying into a back flip where she hits the ground on her stomach. I see Brandy out of the water getting ready to attack I said " Carly behind you!!" Carly turns around and spins herself into an ice tornado that swirls around Brandy making her a block of ice. Mandy jumps to her feet and let's out this extremely loud blood curdling scream that echoes through the yard. Making everyone exclaim in pain and discomfort at the sound in our eardrums. She is right in front of Carly and Dani as they are on their knees holding their ears in pain. That was called a Sonic Scream that she did it even shattered the windows on Jacob's house. I see Kelly turn into electricity and slip through the force field unseen by Mandy. Kelly leaps into her body and Mandy exclaims in agony as she is electrocuted from the inside out. Brandy breaks free from the ice and sees Mandy. She reaches in her body and pulls out Kelly in her electric form and throws her on the ground where she returns to her human form. Mandy grabs Kelly by the face as she is on her knees. Mandy said " The thing about being a former demon is that I can make you feel the pain of your former victims...." She just stares into Kelly's eyes as her hands shake. Kelly exclaims in agony as she can hear the screams of her victims in her mind. Dani is on her back she sees Mandy hurting Kelly and she jumps up to her feet with purple energy sparking from her hands as she grabs Mandy's head from behind shocking her brain. She is using her power called Psychic reflection to counteract Mandy's power to make it do the same to her. She is making Mandy feel her own victims pain. Mandy screams loud in pain as she releases Kelly. Brandy slings an energy ball at Dani and sends her flying back hitting the grass. Mandy drops to her knees and Brandy teleports away with her. The force field comes down and we all rush out to them. Kim runs over to Carly and Kelly who are knocked out. Carly has blood coming from her nose and ears. Jesse starts healing her as Kim looks down at Kelly who finally wakes up. She raises up and looks up at Jacob and Jane standing over Dani. Kim helps Kelly up and look at Carly who wakes up after being healed by Jesse. We walk over to Dani who is bleeding from her nose and ears. She is awake sitting up as Jesse bends down and waves her hand in front of Dani's face healing her. Dani looks weak from the emotional strain but she can regenerate her emotions just not open wounds. Kelly looks at Dani and said " Thank you for saving me she could have killed me"... Dani said " You're welcome.." Kim looks at Kelly and said " Are you okay?" Kelly said " Physically yeah but mentally no".. Kelly has this look in her eyes. Kelly said with tears in her eyes " She made me feel everyone's pain including yours from when we were teens".. Kim pulls her into a hug and hold her. She said " It's okay... you're not her anymore"...
