Chapter 8

P.O.V/ Nicole Henderson:

It's been a month since Riley broke up with me and I'm going crazy without her... I just want her back so bad if I could change what happen between Carly and me then I would in a heart beat I know she would too she has been breaking her back to make it up to Dani. The good thing is that they have been talking more to us and hanging out with us at school. Riley has slowly started speaking to Carly again but Dani refuses to speak to me or barely look at me when she does it's a glare. If I was her I would be angry to I took Carly's virginity when it should have been Dani because she's her girlfriend. Today is January 23 , 2011; Carly's fifteenth birthday. Kim is having it at her house I decided to come for Carly cause she wasn't sure if Dani was coming or not. But she eventually arrived I kept watching for Riley but so far she hasn't showed up. Everyone is outside on the back deck similar to the one at my house after the cake and presents we just hung out on the deck and in the yard I stayed with Jenny, Cheyenne, Sam, Valerie, Mikayla, Shelby, Eric and Mason while Dani and Carly sat on a porch swing that sits in front of the privacy fence located across the yard from the deck me and the others are standing off to the side of the deck on the right by the fence. I'm trying not to watch as I see Dani pull something out of the front pocket of her blue jeans she slides the promise ring on Carly's right hand on her ring finger she got her cast off on the first of January. I see Dani put her hand on Carly's face and kiss her softly. They have been back together since the fourth of January I feel happy for them I'm so glad they worked things out now if only Riley and I can. I see Dani look out the corner of her eye at me I try to pretend like I wasn't watching but she knows I was. They both get up and start walking over to us. They stand in front of us Carly said to us " Thank you guys for coming over". Eric said " You're welcome". He gives her a hug and said " I hate to cut out so soon but Mason and I need to help his Dad with something at his work". She said " It's okay". Eric, Mason, Shelby and Mikayla walk over to the side gate and walk out to meet Mason Sr. outside waiting in his car. That leaves me, Carly, Dani, Jenny, Cheyenne and Valerie. I'm standing next to Carly while Dani stands beside her on the right the others are standing to the left of us. I've tried to get Dani to talk to me but she just gives me a look. Sam said to Carly and Dani " I'm glad you guys worked things out". Dani said " Yeah" as she looks at me. Carly said to me " How's Riley doing?" I said " Better but she's still upset". Dani said sarcastically " I'm sure she is". I just give Dani a look; Carly has this uneasy look in her eyes. I said to Dani " Look I've apologized over and over to you I've tried to make things right". Dani said " Sorry just doesn't fix everything Nicole." I said " That's all I know to do". Dani said with sarcasm " No what you know how do is fuck my girlfriend!" I said " Dani please don't ". She is face to face with me now as I look up at her slightly. Carly said " Dani not now". Dani said as she stared me down " So tell me something.. Did she make the first move? or did you throw yourself on her because you just couldn't control it?" That makes me so angry she's insinuating rape. I feel my eyes change as I said " Dani stop it now.. you know I didn't rape her". Dani said " You might as well have". I didn't mean to say it but I blurt out " Well maybe if you would have had sex with her she wouldn't have wanted me still!" Dani was starting to walk off when I said that. She stopped dead in her tracks Carly shoves me in the right shoulder and said " How could you say that to her?!" Dani turns around and raises her hand up pointing at me she jerks her arm towards herself using her telekinesis to throw me across the air. I exclaim as I zip through the air hitting the ground behind her rolling. Carly said " Dani stop it!!" her and the others start after us and Dani points her hand at them making chains come up from the ground and latch on their wrists restraining them magically. She sees the adults coming out of the back door and on the deck. Right as they step in the grass Dani throws her hands up surrounding them with a force field. Jacob said " Dani that is enough! stop right now!" she looks down at me as I roll over on my back she goes to kick me while I'm down so I do a low kick while I'm on my back and kick the back of Dani's left leg sweeping her feet out from under her. She hits the ground on her back and exclaims in pain. I do a kip up and kick my legs back then forward to make myself jump up to my feet quickly. Dani can't use her powers to channel my martial skills only my powers she stumbles up and start throwing punches at me I duck and miss the first one and she swings a second one and I dodge it she's getting more pissed as I keep dodging her punches. She swings her fist at me I go to dodge it but I feel a blow to my stomach as she tricked me and used her other hand to hit me in the stomach. I double over and she takes the chance to punch me in the mouth hard I hit the ground on my back and she comes at me throwing a punch down. I throw my legs up and wrap them around her neck locking them she grabs my knees and stands up as I hang from her I pull myself up on her shoulders then I drop back down making my hands land flat on the ground as I grip Dani as I flip forward with her. She flips so do I and we land on the ground with me on top of her. It knocked her out so I get off of her when I do the force field comes down and the chains release the others. Carly rushes over to Dani and shakes her to wake her up. It takes about three minutes for Dani to wake up she stands up with the help from Carly. She just glares at me then points both of her hands at me sending a huge ball of purple energy at me. It smacks into to me like a semi truck and shocks me I exclaim as it sends me flying half way across the back yard and crashing into an old metal shed. I fill my body smash into the old metal leaving a huge dent. I exclaim in pain at the impact and hit the ground on my stomach. I feel like there is a thousand knives being stabbed in my brain as I feel my brain being shocked. I exclaim in pain as I roll over on my back as my body begins to shake and convulse violently she's making me feel her emotions and it's so overwhelming I can feel her pain all of it from when her mom died, to when Adrian raped her and when she found out about me and Carly.  I feeling the relief of no more shocking as my body stops convulsing I lay there on my back. I see Dani she has tears running down her face. Mom and Dad rush over to me and help me up Mom said to Jacob " I believe Dani and Nicole need some time apart". Dad walked me out to his truck with Mom where he drove us home.
