Chapter 25

P.O.V/ Riley Roberts:

Last time Kevyn and Alex kidnapped Carly and Dani they almost fell into a portal that lead straight to hell but they were saved by Kelly who made the difficult choice to choose them over Kevyn so she threw Kevyn in and pulled them up to safety. That was three days ago and she is still missing. She got her real identity back as Kevyn because there is no evidence linking her or Kelly to the crime of killing Mrs. Toller and my mom so they were cleared even though we all know what really happened that day. Kevyn killed Mrs. Toller and Kelly shot my mom leaving her to die in Sam's arms. Kelly was lusting after Sam. Kelly ordered her to leave with her threatening to kill mom who died stopping her from taking Sam. Kelly raped Sam while we were lost in 1994 with them and Sam hasn't been right since then. Even though Kelly is good now Sam is giving her the cold shoulder refusing to interact with her but she has the right to feel that way even though Kelly is trying her hardest to get Sam to forgive her. I drive to school meeting Nicole in the back parking lot with the others. I pulled in beside her car. After I turned off my car I got out and walked around to the back of my car where she stands waiting for me. We smile at each other I put my arms around her neck pulling her into a kiss. We stood there kissing for a minute or two. I look at her and She said " Happy Birthday baby girl". I said " Thank you baby.." I put my arm around her. I see Sam and Valerie walking up to us from her car. Nicole looks at Sam and said " Happy Birthday Sam". She said " Thank you." I said to Sam " Are you good?" Sam said " Yeah?? why wouldn't I be??" I said " Well cause you've been avoiding Kelly like the plague and she's trying to make things right with you". Sam is annoyed, She said " I don't have anything to say to her.. everyone else may forgive her but I can't just yet".. I said " I understand that but..". Sam looks around the parking lot and said quietly to me " You ever been raped??" I said " No.. but".. Sam said " Then you don't Riley".. Sam looks down at Nicole then said " It's not fun isn't Nicole??" she looks down at the ground then look back up at Sam. She said " You guys don't understand... I've tried to forgive her and move on... but every time I close my eyes I see that evil bitch forcing herself on me after drugging me.." I said " I didn't mean to upset you.. I was just wondering if you were okay". Sam said " It's okay." We hear the sound of a loud engine pulling in the back parking lot I look over at Alex driving her red and black dodge viper. She parks across the parking lot from mine, Sam's and Nicole's car. She gets out of the car with Lakein and they walk up to us. Alex said " It's dumb and dumber's birthday." her and Lakein laugh wickedly. Alex said " No wait Beavis and Butthead". I said " Fuck off". Alex said " Someone is feisty today". I said " Just get lost and don't make me ask twice". The sounds of students saying " Ooooo". fills the parking lot. Alex steps closer getting in my face she stares down at me and said " You want to say that again bitch?" I'm getting pissed off now. I shove her back and she stumbles back a few steps she growls in anger and grabs the front of my black polo with her fist drew back. The sound of a familiar voice catches our attention " Alright ladies break it up!" Alex and I look over so do the others at Kevyn walking from the gym out to the parking lot. Kevyn walks up and Alex releases me. Kevyn has her arms crossed She said " You two come with me". She grabs my arm while she pushes Alex towards the gym she let's go of my arm when we walked inside the gym lobby. I said to Kevyn " Long time no see stranger". Kevyn glares at me then said " Keep walking Roberts." Alex and I walk with Kevyn behind us the whole way to Mr. Vitaly's office. She knocks on the door and a male voice said from inside " Come in". Kevyn pushes the door open and we walk in. Mr. Vitaly is sitting at his desk looking at his computer. He looks up and said " Hello Miss Davidson good to have you back.. is there a problem with these young ladies??" Kevyn makes us sit down in the two chair in front of his desk. Kevyn is standing behind us as She spoke " They were about to fight". Mr. Vitaly turns to his computer and types something. He looks at us and said " You two have been in a fight before. two years ago in the cafeteria and records say Miss Roberts used a lunch tray as a weapon to beat Miss Evans with I am correct?" I said " She called me a racist name". Mr. Vitaly said " I can read Miss Roberts.. now you two are gonna get along in school and if we have any more problems with you two I will have you both expelled. do I make myself clear girls??" We said " Yes sir". Mr. Vitaly said " Now Miss Davidson please take Miss Evans to homeroom while me and Miss Roberts have a little chat about her temper". Ugh... Man I hate him. Kevyn and Alex leave the room closing the door. Mr. Vitaly said " Now what are we gonna do about this temper Miss Roberts?" I said " I don't have a temper". Mr. Vitaly said " For someone who uses a lunch tray as a weapon you sure do have some anger built up inside. So tell me why are you so angry with Miss Evans??" I said " We just don't get along that's all". Mr. Vitaly said " Now why don't I believe you?" I said " Excuse me??" He gets up from his chair and walks around his desk standing infront of me with his lower back against the desk. He said " I know you and Miss Henderson are an item". I said " Yeah so??" Mr. Vitaly said " Watch your tone young lady we are only talking. Does your anger towards Miss Evans have anything to do with Miss Henderson??" I grip the arms of the chair then said " Fine Hayden seems to can't take no for answer she has been harassing Nicole for two years". Mr. Vitaly said " Sexually??" I can't tell him that Alex raped Nicole because there is no proof. I said " No but she keeps asking her out". Mr. Vitaly said " So you took it upon yourself to get the message through loud and clear to Hayden? by starting a fight with her in the cafeteria that day?". I said " I didn't start the fight she did". Mr. Vitaly steps closer and bends down putting his hands on the arms of the chair. I lean back as far as possible. He said " I don't care who started it. get along or else".. I said " Are you threatening me Mr. Vitaly??" He looks down my black polo that is unbuttoned a little. He is inches away from my face He said " Of course not.. I know you are a mature young lady that shouldn't be getting into fights on her birthday now should we?? you are seventeen Riley act like it"... All a sudden he surges forward kissing me with passion. I shove him off and smack him across the face hard. It didn't even faze him he looks at me and his eyes aren't ice blue anymore they are orange. I get out the chair and run towards the door only for him to run over and slam it. I look up at him he is so tall towering over me as he glares down at me standing infront of the door. I'm freaking out I can't use my powers to escape. I said " Please... just let me leave".. He straights his tie and said " Forgive me that was way out line but it will be our little secret won't it??" He puts his hand on my cheek and I cringe at him touching me. I just stand still as he takes his other hand and runs his fingers through my curly black hair. He said " I shouldn't have done that.. I'm very sorry Miss Roberts just promise me you won't tell"... I said " I promise... just let me go".. He moves his hands and steps out of the way as I open the door and walk out through the office quickly. I walk up the stairs by the auditorium then up the next set of stairs to the fourth floor I walk down the hallway and go into the first room on the right side of the hallway. I walk down the first row of desk to the very back where Nicole is sitting in the very back of the second row. She sees my face and can tell something is wrong. She texted me and I feel my phone vibrate in the front pocket of my blue jeans. The text said " What's wrong?" I text back " Nothing I'm fine".. She looks at the text on her phone then gives me a look. I text back " Meet me in the bathroom after homeroom". She reads the text and shakes her head yes. A bit later homeroom was over so Nicole and I walked to the bathroom. I'm standing infront of the sink as she stands behind me I turn on the water and splash some on my face. I turn around and said " Mr. Vitaly threatened to expel me and Alex if we got into another fight. He then dismissed Kevyn and Alex then proceeded to tell me that I have a temper and that I need to learn how to control it". Nicole said " He's talking about the fight you had with Alex in the lunch room isn't he??" I said " Yeah I wacked her ass in the face with that tray because she fucking deserved it after what she did to you but I couldn't go and tell him that because he thinks she's Hayden not Alex". Nicole said " Yeah and we can't prove that a dead girl raped me". I said " He then said that I shouldn't be getting into fights on my birthday and that I'm seventeen and that I need to act like it then he..." I stopped talking and Nicole said " He what??" I said " Kissed me".. Nicole's eyes widen and her pupils constrict as she gets angry. She said " That fucking bastard...." I said " I know I feel like drinking a bottle of hand sanitizer". I gag thinking about it. Nicole is so pissed off she has tears in her eyes. She said " But that's sexual assault he kissed you without permission and he needs to pay".. I said " I know he does.. but we have no proof it's my word against his". Nicole said " He better pray that I don't see him outside of school". After school Mom and Dad arranged a dinner party at the Cheese Cake factory restaurant for me, Sam, Nicole and Valerie to have a nice dinner together. After the restaurant we returned to my house to hang out in the back yard with everyone else after Sam and I opened a few presents each. Mom, Dad, Jane, Jason, Kim, Kelly, Jacob, Diana, Mason Sr, Nana and Granddad are all sitting around the outdoor glass table that is located on the lower deck there is an upper deck that leads up to the sliding glass doors that enter the house. Valerie walks inside the house for a minute leaving Sam standing infront of the wooden privacy fence on the right side of the yard. Me, Nicole, Dani, Carly, Jenny, Cheyenne, Shelby, Eric, Mason and Mikayla are standing next to her a few feet away. Kelly walks down from the lower deck and up to Sam who kind of gives her a go to hell look. Kelly said " Look I know you hate me.. you have every right to but I just want you to know that I will do anything to make it up to you. I truly am sorry for what I did... if I could take it back I would.. you didn't deserve that Sam and I'm really sorry". Valerie comes down from the lower deck and walks up standing beside Sam. Kelly goes to walk away and Sam said " Wait".. Kelly turns around and looks at her. Sam said " I'm sorry for being a bitch it just really bothered me".. Kelly said " It's okay I deserve it.. I will never hurt you again Sam.. I promise..". Sam said " I believe you but you'll just have to give me some time to get over it. I'm still not use to you being good and to be honest it's kind of of weird". Kelly said " Yeah it's took me a while to get use it but anyways happy birthday Sam". Kelly holds out her hand for Sam to shake but she gives her a hug instead. I see someone appear standing in the grass a few feet back from Kelly and Sam. It's Dakota I didn't know she could teleport. Dakota said " Well someone is having a party and they didn't invite me". Kelly turns around standing in front of Sam. Kim and the others are looking at Dakota. Kim walks off the lower deck and over beside Kelly. She said " What are you doing here??" Dakota said " What I can't come tell the twins happy birthday??" Dakota appears drunk; Kim said " You weren't invited". Dakota said " Yeah I get that now. You guys invite this abomination but not me? fucked up if you ask me". Mom comes walking off the lower deck and over to us. She said " I'm sorry Dakota but I'm gonna have to ask you to leave". I said to Dakota " When did you learn to teleport??" Dakota said " I've always known how". Kim looks suspicious. Kim said " You don't know how to teleport". Dakota suddenly morphs into Austin, Kelly's father. He stands at 6'4" his salt and pepper hair is short shaved down on the sides and the back with some length on the top it's a taper fade haircut, he looks like he weights at least 200 lbs. with a slim athletic frame. He smiles evilly then said " Hello Kelly". She is standing infront of Kim and mom. She said " Get the hell out of here right now". Austin said " Not without you". Kelly said " I ain't going anywhere with you". Austin looks over at us and glares. He snaps his fingers and a red force field surrounds all of us trapping us inside. He said " Don't want the children in the way now do we?" Austin smells like liquor very strongly I can smell him from where I'm standing inside the force field. Austin reaches in his dark grey suit jacket and pulls out a silver flask he opens it and takes a drink then puts it back. Kelly said " When did you start drinking again??" Austin said " Ever since you switched sides betraying me." Kelly said " I actually didn't change willingly it was accident they meant to change Alex but I'm glad that it did happen". Austin said " Well I'm not.. I want the old Kelly back"... Kelly said " She's gone and she's not coming back". Austin said " I lost your mother Kelly please don't make me lose you too". Kelly said " I'm not coming back". Austin has a cane in his hand that he walks with it's black and the top is a silver skull he exclaims in anger and jerks the top of the cane pulling out a sword that was hidden in the cane. He points it at Kelly's throat. He said " Then you shall die!!"... he steps back and flicks the end of the blade at the end of Kelly's hair slicing off a little bit it floats to the ground. Her neck is oozing blood from a cut. Kim and Mom go use the powers with Kelly and Austin flings his arm using his telekinesis to make Kim and Mom fly into the air and onto the lower deck Kim lands on her side and Jesse lands flat on her back right infront of the steps that lead up to the upper deck. A force field surrounds the deck as Jane and Jason run off the deck but are stop by the force field. Austin said " This is between father and daughter..." He exclaims in anger swinging the blade of the sword at Kelly she dodges it each time she jumps up and kicks it out of his hand and it flies behind him and sticks in the ground. Kelly said " Why don't you put that old cane down and fight me like a man?" Austin said " I didn't need a cane then to beat you.. and I don't need one now!!" Kelly said " Have you forgotten old man?! I'm the reason you walk with that cane! I beat you so bad with that tire iron you nearly died!" Austin swings his fist and punches Kelly in the mouth so hard she comes off her feet and hits the ground on her back. Austin puts his black steel toed boot on her chest holding her down. He starts pushing it down trying to crush her chest. She exclaims in pain Austin said " I'm gonna break your heat in two like you did mine".. Kelly's hands start sparking with lightning. She grabs his leg with both hands and lightning shocks his leg. He exclaims in agonizing pain and Kelly throws her hand up shooting a stream of lightning at his chest. He explodes into particles and disappears into the air. She stumbles up and Kim yells " Kelly look out!!!" Kelly turns around and a potion vile filled with black liquid is flying through the air she quickly throws her hand up and shoots a stream of lightning at it and it explodes into a black sludge that covers the grass. It looks like that pointy black stuff that Megan Fox throws up in that movie called Jennifer's Body. Austin said " You just signed your death warrant". He starts walking with the cane and teleport away by the use of fire. The force fields come down and Kim runs down to Kelly checking her. The cut on her neck has healed up into a scar. Everyone else goes home besides me, Nicole, Sam, Mom, Dad, Jane, Jason and Valerie. We are all sitting in the living room it's almost 7:30 pm. Sam and I are sitting on the couch while Nicole stands infront of us in-between the glass coffee table and the couch. Mom, Dad, Jane, Jason and Valerie are standing on the other side of the coffee table behind Nicole. She looks back at the clock on the wall above the others then looks back at us. She said " Are you guys ready? cause once I do this there is no turning back so if you don't want to go through with it you need to tell me". I said " I'm ready". She looks at Sam and she shakes her head yes. Nicole steps closer to me and bends over the couch with her hands on the couch behind me. She puts her head down and growls quietly she slowly raises her head up looking at me with her red vampire eyes. She gets closer and closer to my neck and gently moves my hair of my right shoulder. She said by my ear " It will be over before you know it... don't move"... I close my eyes as she bites down sinking her fangs deep into my neck. I exclaim in extreme pain as I feel my skin burn as her fangs penetrate deep I can feel her venom pulsating through my veins. She detaches from my neck and I feel myself began to change my head goes back on the couch as my back arches off the couch. I growl loud as I open my mouth feeling my fangs break through the skin and the sound of my bones cracking inside of my body as it changes. All a sudden it stops and I raise my head up looking at Nicole and the others she holds her hand out and I raise my hand up and open it. She drops a few red clear colored pills in my hand and I put them in my mouth swallowing them dry. I look over at Sam and Nicole walks over standing infront of her she bends over with one hand on the couch behind Sam as she gently moves her medium blonde colored hair off her right shoulder. She said " Ready?" Sam shakes her head yes as Nicole gets closer to her exposed neck she latches onto Sam's neck sinking her fangs deep into the skin as they break through. Sam exclaims in extreme pain as feels the burn and the venom. Nicole quickly detaches from her neck and we watch as Sam transforms her head drops back on the couch and her back arches off the couch. She growls loud as she opens her mouth I can see the fangs breaking through the skin. The sound of her bones cracking rings in our ears. She looks at Nicole who has the red pills ready for her. Sam takes the pills in her hand and swallows them.
