Chapter 20

P.O.V/ Nicole Henderson:

Being sucked into a portal almost feels like you are being sucked into a black hole because you have no idea how far it goes or where it will take you. Everything feels like it's spinning out of control until it stops I open my eyes and see Riley laying on the floor beside me. I'm laying on my stomach. I turn over on my back and look around we are in a room. Riley rolls over on her back and looks around the room with me as we stand up. I see a poster on the wall of Bon Jovi above the bed, a poster of Tupac Shakur on the back of the door, a poster of Aerosmith and the band Journey above the tv that is not a flat screen it's an old tv built into a wooden stand that they called floor models back then. Riley sees an old game system sitting on top of the tv stand. She picks up the controller that has a cord attached to it. It is a Super Nintendo a console from the early 90's Riley whispered " Okay something is off I haven't see one of these in years". I see a newspaper laying at the foot of the bed I pick it up and look at it. I see in bold letters " Reno names Robert Fiske as independent counsel to investigate questions surrounding the Clinton's real-estate investment in the Whitewater development corporation". under the letters is an article about it. Wait a second the Clinton's?? I look at the date at the top of the newspaper it says January 20, 1994?! I exclaim in surprise Riley whispered " What is it?" I show her the newspaper and her eyes widen. She whispered " No.. no.. are we back in time?" I walk over to the tv and bend down I press the power button and it comes on showing Bill Clinton the president talking to a crowd of people at the white house. I look at Riley and whisper " This is bad... we don't exist here yet". Riley whispered " We are so far back even Google can't find us because it doesn't exist yet".... We hear the sound of footsteps so Riley opens the closet door and we go inside she closes the door gently. The bedroom door comes open and we hear someone moving things around. Riley quietly opens the door to where she can see out of a crack. I can see a girl with dark brown hair that is in a ponytail. Riley gently closes the door and She whispered " I have no idea who that is"... All of a sudden the door comes open revealing a teenage girl thirteen or fourteen. She is white with dark brown hair tied back in a ponytail, she is wearing a grey t-shirt that say MTV on the front, a pair of light blue jeans and a pair of old Nikes. She screams. Then said " Who the hell are you?!" she grabs a metal baseball bat sitting against the wall by the tv. We walk out of the closet and she backs away from us because she's scared. She said " I'm gonna call the police if you don't leave!" She runs over to the right side of the bed picking up a landline phone she starts dialing. Riley uses her telekinesis to fling the phone out of her hand. She is stunned then said " You guys have powers too?" I said " You know what powers are?" She said " Yeah I'm a Guardian-Witch but don't ever tell nobody that my parents always tell me to keep it a secret". Riley is looking at her weird She said " What are your parents names?" She said " Terri and Don Roberts". Our mouths drop oh my god that's Jesse.... when she was a teen. Riley said " And what's your name?" She said " Jesse Roberts. what's your names?" We look at each other then I said " I'm Nicole and this is Riley". Teen Jesse said " Cool... I've always loved the name Riley for a girl". I said quietly to Riley " I think we should tell her"... Riley shakes her head no. Teen Jesse said " Tell me what??" I said " She's not gonna remember anything once we leave". Teen Jesse is very confused Riley said " You need to sit down for this". She sits down on the bed and Riley exhales nervously then said " Jesse.... I'm your... daughter from the future and I was sent here along with your other future daughter Sam who is also my fraternal twin. She was attacked by future Kelly Davidson and that was when the portal opened up". She looks like she's seen a ghost then she laughs. She said " Good one.. I know I'm thirteen but I'm not that gullible". She giggles but we aren't laughing. She said " Wait you are serious??" I said " Dead serious I wish it was a joke but it's not.... I need your help to find Sam before Kelly does something and messes up our future and yours".. Teen Jesse stands up and in front of Riley. She is about the same height as her Adult self in the future. Teen Jesse said " So you are my daughter? when did I have you?" Riley groans then said " I'd rather not open that can of worms". Teen Jesse said " Okay that's fine I probably shouldn't know that yet". I said under my breath " You will find out sooner than you think".. Teen Jesse looks at Riley then said " Are you mixed?" Riley said " Yeah but I get mistaken to be white". Teen Jesse exclaims then said " Is Brandon Wilson yours and Sam's father?" Riley said " Yeah... about that have you had sex with him yet?" Teen Jesse's face blushes then said " Yeah... just don't tell my parents they'll kill me. Are you a virgin? who was the first guy you did it with?" I snicker quietly and Teen Jesse looks at me. Riley said " I lost my virginity when I was fourteen but it was to her". Riley points to me and Teen Jesse is stunned then blushes. She said to us " So you two are gay?" I said " Lesbian but yes we are". Riley said " Are you alright with that?" Teen Jesse said " Of course. I'm not that way though. how old are you two by the way?" Riley said " I'm sixteen she's seventeen". Teen Jesse said " That's weird you are older than me right now and I'm your mom". She studies her face then said " You are so beautiful.. I can't believe how much you look like Brandon". Riley said " Wait until you see Sam it will be like looking in a mirror". I said " So Jesse are you alone? where are your parents?" Teen Jesse said " They are at work but I'm actually suppose to be over at my friend Jane's house right now". I said " Jane Henderson??" Teen Jesse looks at me then said " You mean Jane Nelson? She and Jason aren't married yet.. how do you know her?" Riley and I look at each other then I said to Jesse " I'm her daughter from the future". Teen Jesse is stunned then She said " She doesn't have any kids right now". I said " She will soon". Teen Jesse looks overwhelmed I said " I know this is a lot to take in a once and we are sorry". Teen Jesse said " I will admit it's insane but I do believe you because magic brought you here".
