Chapter 17

P.O.V/ Nicole Henderson:

After the encounter with Alex at the old car factory, Avery and I have grown closer she admitted that she did feel alone but I told her that she isn't because we love her as if she were actually family. It's feels good to have an older sister I've always wanted a sister. Don't get me wrong I love Eric more than anything but he's a guy and I need a girl to relate to on a sibling level and Avery has always felt like a sister to me even when I was with Alex. Speaking of her I know that she's pissed about Avery choosing me over her and I know that really hurt Alex but I don't care anymore. She is a vile woman and she doesn't deserve someone as good as Avery just so she can corrupt her and turn her evil. But Avery refused to join Alex because she knows she is nothing like her and never will be. Today is Monday August 15, 2011 it's the first day of my senior year it has flew by fast I'm gonna be seventeen in November and Riley will be seventeen in February. I'm nervous to change her and Sam into vampire-witches but if I don't Alex and Kelly could kill them and I don't want to lose either one of them to those sick bitches. I've been hearing that we have a new principal in place of Mrs. Toller all I know is it's a man hopefully he's not an asshole. I pull into the back parking lot in front of the gym I pull into a parking spot beside Dani's car. I turn the engine off and get out of the car with my backpack on one shoulder. I walk up to the front of my car where Riley is standing. She pulls me into a passionate kiss and I kiss her back. We stand there and kiss for a few minutes which turns into a make out session. I lift her up and sit her on the hood I stand in between her legs and we continue kissing. I know that people are probably watching but we don't care if I wouldn't get in trouble I'd bend her over the hood and let her have it. I hear someone clear their throat and we stop kissing. I look back and there stands Sam, Valerie, Carly, Dani, Jenny and Cheyenne. Sam said " Alright cool it down before I get Carly to cool you both down". Carly's powers have developed more. She has the power of Cryokinesis which has advanced giving her more ice related powers such as Ice teleportation. I hear evil giggling and I look to the right seeing Alex, Lakein, Drew, Ray and Alexia walking in the parking lot. Alex said " You two need to get a room I thought you were about to bang on the hood of Nicole's car". I said " You're just jealous". Alex rolls her eyes she is standing beside Valerie. She looks over at Carly and said " I heard your powers have advanced". Carly said " Yeah what's it to you?" Alex snickers and said " Ice powers don't have that much effect on Kevyn or me". Carly rolls her eyes Valerie looks around scanning the parking lot she points her finger at the back of Alex's blue jeans and zaps her with some heat. Alex exclaims in sudden pain as she jumps from the surprise attack. Valerie looks at Alex and her eyes light up orange. She said " You aren't immune to mine". Valerie is giving Alex this intimidating stare. They are staring each other down I can see it in Valerie's eyes she's had enough of Alex bothering us. Alex stares down at her and said with sarcasm " Oh... you are so scary... please"... Valerie's eyes are still orange. She said " I'm sick of you messing with us... you really need to get a life and move on Nicole will never love you". Alex is getting more pissed by the minute. Alex said " And what are you gonna do if I don't?" Valerie said " You'll find out soon enough". Sam gets in between them she is facing Valerie. She said " Stop it both of you". Sam is making Valerie back up. Alex's eyes scan Sam's body from behind. Alex said " Listen to the wifey, ain't that right Sami". She smacks Sam on the butt and Valerie goes for Alex but is stopped by Carly and Dani. Sam motions for Valerie to stay back and she turns around looking up at Alex who is smiling with a perverted grin. Sam grins sarcastically and slaps Alex across the face who laughs with amusement. Alex said " She's a keeper". Sam rolls her eyes as she follows Carly and Dani who are walking Valerie towards the steps that lead down to the courtyard Riley and I follow the others after giving Alex a dirty look. We are standing down in the courtyard. Sam said " Ugh... she makes me sick". I said " She's getting to the point where she hits on everyone the other day at work she flirted with Kim". Sam makes a grossed out expression so does Carly. She said " Ewww... she hit on my mom?" I said " Yeah it was weird your mom was creeped out". All a sudden Alex dumps a blue slushy on Valerie's head who exclaims in anger. Alex, Lakein and Drew are standing there laughing their asses off. The slushy slowly melts away on her head because of her body heat and she's pissed right now. Alex said " That should cool you down". Alex and Lakein high five. Valerie sees a half empty iced coffee sitting on the low brick wall beside her that is still cold. She picks it up and walks up to Alex she dumps it all down her back. Alex exclaims in anger then turns around looking down at Valerie. Who smiles wickedly throwing the empty plastic cup at her it bonks Alex in the head and falls to the ground. We are all laughing as Valerie walks back up to us she high fives Sam. Alex is glaring at us evilly. Me and Riley follow Valerie and Sam to the bathroom where Valerie bends over the sink and Sam rinses out what's left off the slushy most of it melted off her head. Sam hands Valerie a brush and she brushes her hair then pulls a thin black hair tie off her wrist and puts her hair up. Valerie said " It took everything in me not to lay her ass out". I said " I have to admit it was pretty funny watching that slushy melt off your head". Riley snickers. Valerie smiles then Sam said " She could cook an egg on her hand that's how hot she gets". Me and Riley giggle. I said " So how do you walk in snow?" Valerie said " I can as long as I have shoes on or obviously it will melt sometimes I have to wear gloves if I play football or basketball or the balls will explode". Riley and I walk to our homeroom with our new teacher Mrs. Blake, she is a white woman in her early forties. She announces to us that we are going to the auditorium for assembly the new principal would like to introduce himself. She lines us up and leads us down stairs to the auditorium that is full of our grade and teachers. I sit down in a chair beside Riley and look up at the stage. A very tall man with an olive skin tone walks out to the middle of the stage with a microphone in his hand. His hair is dark brown and curly it lays on his shoulders from what I see his eyes are a green, he is wearing a grey dress jacket with a white button up shirt under it, a pair of dark blue jeans and pair of grey and white Nikes. He speaks into the microphone with a Russian/ English accent " Hello Finway High! my name is Vikram Vitaly but to you I'm Mir. Vitaly. I am honored to be your new principal I was born in Russia"... He continues speaking telling us about himself. The assembly lasted for about twenty-five minutes until we all were released and sent to first period. As Riley and I walk out of the auditorium. Mr. Vitaly is standing outside He said " Miss Henderson and Miss Roberts I presume?" We look up at him and shake our heads yes. He said " I've heard alot about you two". When he said that he smiles strange. He looks at Riley and said " I heard about your mother I am so sorry for yours and Sam's loss if there is anything you need please come see me". I watch as his eyes wander scanning our bodies he smirks. We continue walking to first period what a creep..
