You were lying on the chairs of the main hall, reading a book entitled "basic hexes for the busy and vexed". You most certainly were not a beginner in hexes, but you were researching simple hexes all the same. Your mother had always taught you the complicated spells before anything else. It was about practicality. But it may be useful for you to understand simple hexes like the horn growing hex, or the bat bogey hex. Just for future reference. And besides, you liked the look on people's faces when they saw a Lestrange reading on hexes.

So you sat quietly and comfortably, reading and understanding. Until you noticed someone flop next to you dramatically. You knew that drama.

"Georgie." You said without looking up from the page.

"Watcha reading?" He threw his arm around you and leaned in to see what page you were on.

"Bat bogey hex? You know, my sisters an expert in those. You should consult her." He smiled proudly. It was adorable how proud he was if her.

"If she's brave enough to talk to me, I will most definitely ask her about it." You looked into his eyes and smiled.

"Of course shes brave enough. She's a Gryffindor!" He was quite proud of his house, almost as much as his sister.

"And where is my second favourite twin?" You inquired.

"Freddie's off selling our latest product, fainting fancies, to a few dim witted first years. Have to test the new product." He was also quite proud of his small business.

"You both should open a shop you know."

"It's funny you should say that! We've been talking about it for some time now. We were thinking of dropping out before our final year and opening up a joke shop!" His eyes were lighting up. He called Fred over.

"Freddie! Get over here!" He was yelling across the room. He looked over his shoulder and walked toward you two.

"Look at you two, all cozied up on the community couch. Taking up allll the space." Fred turned his head toward two younger students who were too frightened to ask you to move over.

"If you wanted a seat just ask Freddie." You spoke to him as though you were speaking to a toddler. Sometimes it's the only way to get through to Him.

George quickly gestured for his brother to come closer. So he knelt in. You three were all huddled up.

"Y/n thinks we should open a shop. Practice your pitch."

"It's your pitch too George."

"Today I'm a spectator" Fred stood back up, confidently and proudly.

"May I present to you, lady and gentleman," he began to play a drumroll on thin air with his wand in one hand.

"Weasleys wizard wheezes!" He threw his arms up in the air. "Now be nice, behind this tall and handsome facade I'm quite sensitive."

You laughed and wiggled closer to George.

"Brilliant! It flows off the tongue. Sounds just stupid enough for a joke shop. I love it." You were clapping your hands together.

"Your support is why we do this, y/n." Fred bowed to you and walked off toward a group of students who had just collapsed into the ground. "I've got it. Enjoy the alone time you two~" he fluttered his fingers and ran off.

You turned toward George, who was just as red as you, but playing it cool.

"I ate a whole pie before you got here." It was a brag.

"Now that is an impressive feat. Unless of course it was pecan."

"Pumpkin. I'm no animal." You squinted your eyes at him.

"That's my girl." He laughed and looked away after realizing what he had just said.

"Your girl, huh?" You sat up and looked him in the eyes, he didn't quite have the composure to meet yours.

"Well-I mean," he was stuttering and trying to save himself.

"Perhaps you wouldn't mind accompanying your girl to the first trial today?" You raised one eyebrow and smirked.

He turned to you and tilted his head. "You won't even let me ask you out first?"

"Go ahead then." You folded your arms and laid back on the couch. George shot up and stood before you. He got down on one knee and held out his hand to you dramatically, his other hand on his heart.

"Y/n Lestrange, please, accompany me to watch our friend compete in what might quite possibly be his doomsday." He was smiling, like a dork. You like dorks though so it's fine.

"There is no other way I would rather spend our time."
