Being a Lestrange meant a lot of things. It means that you are smart, powerful, hated almost everywhere and expected to receive the dark mark once your mother deems you worthy. But you didn't want that. So you ran away.
After escaping, you found you...
Note: the photos are of your Yule ball dress and shoes! I hope you can imagine yourself in them and feel beautiful ~
Side note: Luna does your hair in this chapter, and I didn't explain what style you had. I didn't want to be descriptive of colour or length. So please imagine the hair you would want to wear to the Yule ball, and that is exactly what you will have :)

"You look stunning!" You saw Luna as she stood before you, all dressed up in her pink, frilly and layered dress. There was a lot of character, so it matched her well. Your eyes scanned her as they went down, but stopped when you saw her feet. And you knew what happened.
"Luna, where are your shoes?" You inquired, but you both knew.
"Stolen, I suppose. It's quite alright though. I naturally prefer bare feet to shoes regardless."
"I'm sure you do, but for now you can borrow mine." You turned and pulled out some pink heels to match her dress.
"Oh I couldn't. Please don't worry, y/n. I'm perfectly fine." She smiled. You knew she was, but part of you wanted to find the hag that stole her shoes and beat them to a pulp. That would have to wait until after the dance.
"You look gorgeous regardless of footwear." You smiled at her softly, but continued. "You are wearing shoes though. I won't accept any answer that doesn't result in you taking and wearing them." You handed them over to her. She happily accepted and slipped them on.
Your eyes fell down to her hands as she was tying her shoelaces, and you noticed she was wearing the ring you had given her.
"You're wearing the ring!" You were even happier than you were letting yourself look.
"Of course I am, y/n. I wear it every day. Now is hardly the time to take it off. You're wearing it at the moment as well. And every other day for that matter." She wore her soft smile looking at your ring. You held out your hand to gaze at your two rings. On your thumb was yours and Luna's rings. And on your ring finger was the one George had given you. You never took them off.
"I'm going to slip into my dress. Speaking of Luna, thoughts? You reached into you black hole that was a suitcase, and slowly pulled out your dress for the evening.
"It's magnificent. It will look spectacular on you!" Luna was getting excited for you.
"I'm glad you think so." Giggling to yourself, you looked down at the dress.
It was very long and flowy, with many sheer layers. It was off the shoulder, but had two separate sheer puff sleeves. And though it wasn't as visible when you didn't wear it, there was a large slit on one side. You knew George was going to love that. But what you knew he would love just as much, if not more, was that you made the pattern on the dress a beautiful celestial map and stars to match the ceiling of the Ravenclaw common room. But you also made your shoes a velvet red, not only for George's house, but his hair. A double entendre. All in all, you were very proud of your symbolism.
You entered your bedroom again to twirl around in your outfit. You spun around, Luna clapping for each angle.
"I'll see you out there, Luna?" You looked back up at Luna, who was ready to go.
"Of course not!" She furrowed her brows. "I'm waiting for you, silly."
"Twice as stunning together. Good technique. The boys will be blinded." You both giggled.
"Oh! You haven't styled your hair yet!" Luna ran over to the chair in front of the vanity you shared, and gestured for you to sit down. She began to fiddle with your hair, tying it up and down, giving everything a try until you asked her to stop because she had created exactly what you didn't even know you wanted.
"It's perfect Luna! Thank you!" You looked at it from all angles. "How did you get so good?" You met her eyes through the mirror.
"I have quite a lot of hair myself."
"Of course. Your hair is absolutely stunning, by the way. It's important you know that."
"Oh I do." She coiled her fingers through her hair. You both began to laugh.
"Oh, we're about to be late." Luna turned to leave, but you grabbed her hand.
"There's nothing wrong with a grand entrance, Luna."
