"Snickerdoodle."
The fat lady reluctantly allowed you to enter the Gryffindor common room. You entered, for the first time, and were pleasantly surprised. The room had very warm lighting and a roaring fireplace. The sofa and chairs looked well loved but comfortable. There was wood all over, including a wooden staircase that lead up to the dormitories.
Your eyes scanned the room for Harry, who was sitting on a couch across from Ron and Hermione. You walked over, without them noticing you. There were several other students who did. They don't bother spitting insults anymore. Not after the Draco incident.
"Gillyweed for you." You dropped the jar of Gillyweed onto his lap. That seemed to get his attention. Ron and Hermione looked up at you. Hermione politely smiled, and Ron was just as baffled as ever.
"Gillyweed?" Hermione eyed Harry suspiciously.
"Y/n offered to help me find me some. It should help with the next trial."
"And how will a dirty plant help him breath underwater?"
"Just as bright as I remember you, Ron." He recoiled his face in anger and lingering confusion.
"Gillyweed allows you to breathe underwater. Which reminds me." You turned back to Harry. "Eating that amount will let you breathe underwater, but only for an hour or so."
"Or so?" He furrowed his brows and bent forward in your direction, placing his elbows on his knees.
"It's nice to know you haven't lost your hearing on top of your brains."
He opened his mouth to fight you, but Hermione pinched him, knowing whatever he was about to say it wouldn't help his case.
"It's more unpredictable in that sense, but you should be fine."
"Should be?!"
"And he floors the audience, yet again, with his amazing sense of hearing!" Fred came up behind them on the couch. He leaned over and placed his arms on the back of the couch, looking at Ron. And on the other side, was George.
"One would hope he will go on to do this professionally!" George flopped his arms against the couch and quickly leaned in when he spoke.
"Georgie!" You smiled brightly at him and blushed.
"Darling!" He did the exact same.
George quickly jumped over the couch, just barely missing Hermione, who looked rather offended and angry at him for paying such little attention. He quickly ran over to you and lifted you up, spinning you around. Once he gently placed you pack down he went in to kiss you. You kept your hands around his neck, hanging off his shoulders. Once you two reluctantly parted, you turned to see some interesting faces. Ron was visibly disgusted, his nose was wrinkled, his mouth was open and his brows were furrowed. Hermione was simply staring at the two of you, opened mouthed. Until she coughed to gather everyone's at the room and bring herself back. Ron slowly turned away, his face unchanging.
George, in response, put one hand in his pocket and the other around your waist. He pulled you in close to him so you were at his side. He innocently smiled at everyone.
"Well...thanks again y/n." Harry said as he awkwardly lifted the jar of Gillyweed.
"Anytime."
"What did I miss?" George turned his head to you.
"Harry needed a little help finding something to breath underwater."
"So you have him weeds?"
"Gillyweed, to be exact."
"Well alright then. I hope you intend to stay a little longer?" He looked down at you and raised his brow. He had an open mouth smile with his tongue peeking out the side, pointing upward against his smile.
"If you insist."

You and George were cuddled up against a corner of a chair next to a roaring fireplace. Harry was across from you on a couch, his precious jar still in hand. Fred was next to him, sitting too comfortably. Hermione and Ron had moved over to the couch that was across from the other. Essentially, you two were in the centre.
"How was Hogsmaede then?" You looked up at George, who you were snuggled up against.
"Yes, I did bring you back a pumpkin pastie."
"Perfect."
"I left it with Luna. So you can have it once you get back."
"With Luna? How did you get into the Ravenclaw common room?" Hermione seemed equally interested and obligated to tell him off.
"Y/n and I made a fancy little deal. She keeps the door propped open with a book-"
"I enchanted it so it always keeps the door open for George."
"And Fred." He corrected.
"And Fred." You allowed, and nodded to acknowledge him. "But I can take that right away just as easily as I have it to you. Don't forget that." You raised your eyebrows and looked into his eyes. He raised his hands up and turned his head.
"Have I ever done anything to betray your trust, y/n?"
"Constantly."
"Moving away from that..." George tried to steer the conversation back to where it started. "In return, I update her on the passwords every week."
"You will be seeing plenty more of me." You winked. Harry smiled honestly, Hermione smiled politely, and the corners of Ron's mouth turned upward awkwardly.
"I'll grow on you."
Ron exhaled and smiled slightly. Maybe it was because he knew it was true, or maybe it was because it was the exact opposite. Either way, the mood was lightened.
"I should be heading back to get my pastie soon." You placed your hand on George's chest and looked up at him, asking for a kiss goodbye.
"I may just see you later tonight." He said before he bent his neck down to kiss you.
"I'm not sure Luna would love your visit."
"She won't complain. I gave her a cauldron cake."
"I'll see you later then." You giggled and sat up. You gently brushed off your skirt, that you have recently been hiking up just a little more than usual, and waved goodbye to everyone. They waved back, George being the only one who winked and blew you a kiss. You winked and turned you head back to face the exit.
"I hate to see her go, but love to see her walk away." George said to the others, his eyes still lingering on you.
"Keep it to yourself, pervert."
"You're just jealous, Ron."
"Zip it."
