Note: I know I haven't updated in a while I'm so sorry ;-; I'm so incredibly busy with school and life I've been having a hard time sitting down to write. I hope everybody is managing better than I am! Also, this chapter is very short. It's only because it's a little prompt into the next chapter, which will be out very soon. And not like two months soon, like soon soon.

Things were different since you had emerged from the maze with the corpse of the schools most beloved Hufflepuff. Different for you, for everyone.
Harry was taunted left and right. The former hero, chosen one and beloved school hero, was now having to keep his head down to avoid the sight of those horrid pins, "Potter stinks".
You hadn't felt the same since. While everyone may have thought of you as a true descendant of your mother, a murderer, a cold blooded killer, you had never touched the cold skin of a dead body until that day. It began to feel like maybe all you were born to be was your mother. Even if you run and hide, what was made for you would come.
But what hurt the most was George. All you could think was that he didn't love you anymore. Who could love a monster? Your mother hadn't. This school never had. Neither your birth or adopted father cared enough to be there. Why should George? And even though he proved every day how much he loved you, every negative thought and festering feeling was one you couldn't shake. Your head whispered thoughts to you, warnings and images you couldn't quite place. None of them were yours.
But time marches on, and she picks her favourites.
The school continued, even after every warning you and Harry could scream. He haunted your dreams, your every thought. While nobody would speak his name, you knew what was coming. This time however, you had help.
