Note: I'm so sorry for how slow I've been with writing. I've been having a hard time with my mental health and getting myself to do things. I'd like to at least take this as an opportunity to tell everyone that you're not alone in your struggles, and that even if it feels impossible and pointless, there will be an end to your suffering and you will feel happy again.
Lord knows everyone reading this has to be mentally ill.
Also, this chapter may have some inaccuracies that differ from the films. I'm just trying to make it fit better into this story. I hope it doesn't bother you ~

"Stay close to me." You narrowed your eyes, trying to scope out your mother and her associates. The boys didn't even think to move out in front of you until you suggested they stay there. At that moment, both of them stepped to the side so you were all side by side.
"Maybe I'm supposed to call her out...she does love a good game."
You continued to search, but instead your eyes stumbled upon the trophy lying in the grass.
"I see the port key. Stay close, move toward it slowly." You all walked for only a second before you heard a distant ruffling.
You flinched fast, whipping out your wand toward the darkened bushes. The boys jumped out from behind you, mimicking your movements.
For a couple seconds, you didn't breathe. Your eyes were focused and darting back and forth. You stood completely still, breathing quietly, if at all.
Again, there was movement. Something inside you was bubbling up. Fear, instinct, whatever it was you could feel you losing grip of your sanity. Whatever was approaching, you needed to act first. Rationally, fast and confidently. That was how your mother taught you to approach everything.
So you took a small, shallow breath and relaxed your face muscles. A small smirk grew across your face as you took a step forward.
"I've missed you, mummy."
There was no response. No verbal response. But the energy was growing thicker. You could almost feel it filling up your lungs and clogging your airway.
You stood up straighter. Your shoulders fell down slightly but your wand remained suspended in the air with your hand grilling it tightly.
"Oh come on now. Are your feelings that hurt?" You giggled slightly, but the nerves running through your body were turning those giggles into a laugh that was bordering on insanity.
"Oh COME ON MUMMY!" You shouted to the empty night. Your grin was wide and open, eyes almost wild. When you were met with silence, you raised your head. The smile was falling, along with your laugh.
"We have guests." You said with a much more stern face. The boys only stood behind you in shock, fumbling to decide what to do.
The thick silence was broken with heavy steps along the grass field. A figured was moving in the distance, emerging from a cave, clutching something tightly in their embrace.
"You've grown up so much, dearie." The moonlight reflected on your mother's face. "It's such a shame though. I thought I raised you better."
"There she is." You smiled through the pain. Your eyes drifted to what she was clutching. Your breathing immediately halted.
"And know you've gone and had another baby?" You laughed. Laughed through the knowledge of who that actually was.
You took one small step forward, trying to take a closer look.
"Awww...he's ugly." You took a few steps back toward the boys. Without looking back, you tried to brief them.
"You're about to hear some weird things. See some even weirder things. But Harry," you paused. "Don't. Get. Caught." You allowed your eyes to drift to your right side, making sure he understood. He took a deep nod. His face was riddled with confusion and panic, but he seemed to understand the complications of being there. That he needed to trust you.
"Don't be so rude to your father and I." Bellatrix's smile fell.
Another moment of silence befell the two of you, Harry and Cedric caught in between with visible confusion on their faces.
"Wait-" Harry began.
"I warned you, now keep your lips shut."
You took a deep breath.
"Where's everyone else? I thought this was a family reunion."
Bellatrix nudged her head, signalling for others to emerge. There are many figures who emerged from the caves, nearly all of them wearing cloaks. With the exception of one.
"Pettigrew." You smiled. "I was hoping I'd never see you again."
Before he could even let out a rat squeal in response, Bellatrix raised her head and commanded the crowd to circle around you.
Their wands were out, there was no way you could have taken all of them on. You turns to the boys, hoping they would be related to run. You were met, instead, with Harry being tugged away by two of the men.
"What are you doing?! Let me go!" He was kicking and reaching for his wand, which was dropped the the ground.
"No no no no no no no" was all you could repeat to yourself in your head.
Before you could reach for your wand, you and Cedric were restrained.
"HARRY GET OUT OF HERE!" That was all you could say. You freed yourself from the two men, punching them to the ground. Almost immediately you were met with four more who knocked you to the ground.
"IM TRYING Y/N!" Harry yelled to you.
Everything was becoming blurry. The movement of everyone became blended together. It was all happening so fast, there was no time to process. By the time you were back on your feet and looking ahead at Harry, his arm was already bleeding.
It was too late.
