chapter 36: Hanzo's trauma

Me, Madori, and Makoto made our way downstairs to the power room of the ship. After all this time, I just now noticed that Madori doesn't have any tails and Hanzo does. If me and Kikko had children, she's probably the aquarin if my guess is right.

"Are you wondering what's going on down below Katsumi? I know I am, I've been worried after seeing those ships go to earth and that they never returned.... " makoto said, looking at me as we ran.

"I'm sure everything is fine mako, we need to focus and not worry. " I said.

"You're right.... " she said.

When we finally made it to the end of the stairs, we found an steel security door with the panel "power room" above it. It seemed, that only engineers and repairmen were the only ones allowed in. Madori smirked and dug into her bag, pulling out a small device and placing it on the password panel.

"2...5....3.....4?....no.... 3 ....4....3...7?.....no....... You two are wondering why big brother dresses like a woman huh? " she said, guessing more combinations.

"Didn't ask, but now that I think about it, the clothing is in my style.... " I said, rubbing my chin and thinking.

"That's because those are your clothes..... Dammit, wrong one again..."

"Mine?! Why?! "

"Long ago, when I was very little, I remember what happened. The end of the world was fast approaching it seemed. Hanzo had me by the hand, guiding me down the alleyways. Suddenly, ratton landed in front of us. She looked like a cyborg demon, when she aimed her plasma rifle at us, mom.... You jumped in front of us and took the hit.... "

Me and Makoto didn't say a word, because we were very shocked by this.

"You were reduced to ash and she took your star seed, probably for her war machines. She looked at us, laughed like a maniac, and then left..... Hanzo picked up your clothes and vowed that he would get his revenge in one way or another.... He wore your clothes to cope with what he seen..... The depression from the loss of both of you.... How everything turned to a living hell.... He did his best to take care of me when I was younger. I could only imagine what he felt. Uncle San took us in for the majority of our lives in the crystal castle ruins. When he went off to face ratton and her army, he and the knights wiped out about a third of them, before falling to their demise...." She said, trying not to cry.

"Madori...... " I managed to choke up.

"Once Qrow is defeated, ratton will attack in some way or fashion. However, this time she won't have  his technology or fleet to use to her favor. "

"So we can just defeat her easily? Nice! "

"Nooo nonono it will be EASIER but not easy. She's a mad woman hell bent on revenge against vulepkin for wiping out her platoon. Claiming the vules, played dirty in the war which doesn't make sense. War is war after all. So I have no idea what she will do or when. I do know, however, that this fight's victory will help definitely make things less of war zone and more of a pleasant life. " she said before huffing and growling.

"What's wrong Madori? " asked makoto.

"SCREW IT!! MELTING THE DAMN DOOR!! " she shouted as she stood up and got in a stance.

She rose her left hand in the air and it formed into a green, gelatin looking cone, then it spun as she then slammed it into the door. There was steam and a loud hissing and melting sound. She, within a span of a few seconds, melted through the door and formed a sizable opening for all of us to fit through. Her drill arm then turned to a gooey like substance, then formed back into her arm again.

"Pretty cool huh? I'm an aquarin like my other mother. Except, my senshi power is acid. No I don't normally use it on foes unless they have armor on I can't damage with my regular aquarin gel molds. The acid is controlled like an on and off switch. " she said looking at us and smiling proudly.

We all were too amazed to spit out the words. We then walked through the hole to see some rather terrified mechanics on the other side.

Madori looked at them.

They looked at her then at each other.

"Should we.... Do something?" One asked the other.

"Chick melts through six inches of titanium and you wanna do something about it?? " the other said.

"Good point. "

"Yeah, just sit in your seat and act like nothing is happening.... "

"Probably the brightest idea you people have made all day... " said Madori.

"How do we turn off the cannon? " makoto asked.

The two pointed to the lever in the corner, which was probably labeled as "emergency shut down" in Avarian language. I did the honors and pulled the lever, watching the power turbines slow down to a halt.

"Nice one ladies, let's hope that teguma is holding up up there.... " I said triumphantly.

"Are you kidding? He knocked out Haruka and massacred some giant monster when tokyo was under demonic invasion. I'm sure teguma is serving up knuckle sandwiches to em as we speak! " makoto said, giving me a thumbs up.

"HE DEFEATED HARUKA?! " Madori said in surprise.
