prologue *

This.... This is all wrong!

Over the course of a few months, society began to recover from the incident with Pandora and the demon invasion. Queen Serenity used her silver crystal to revive the population and revert all the damage done.... However, she became stricken with some strange illness because of it.. She used the last bit of her strength to revive San who died of severe injuries, but was only able to bring him to critical status in terms of health. She remains bed ridden in a sort of comatose sort of condition....

Over the course of these months, San was hooked up to machines and was monitored 24/7 as by order of the Queen. Anything they can spare, would be put towards the efforts to bring San around. However..... It became depressing over time....

He's dipped in and out of death four or five times, needing resuscitation over and over. He was wrapped up like a mummy and had to have his blood replenished upon being brought in. Now, he lies there, hooked up and has to take meds through tubes. He's not even awake to even see us!

We're all a mess over this..... His mom and sister seen him a few times, but couldn't bear to see him in this kind of condition anymore. They're at their village in the forest, which is under lock down under orders of Queen serenity. I can only imagine what kind of torment they must be going through.

Teguma, poor guy, he secluded himself to his shrine in the mountains. To have a loved ones blood stain on your clothes really must have a hold on him. He's always been tough, but when I seen him hold back tears after delivering san to the hospital, kinda messed me up to say the least.

Little hikaru is with katsumi and tamono, however she's just trying to keep them together. She's locked out of the shrine they're in for some odd reason. So alas, she sits at it's entrance waiting for them to let her in. Tamono probably did that so hikaru didn't have to see them in such a broken state, but she's their kid! She should let her in and let her help them!

Then there's the fact that moro, daisuke, and xylu have disappeared too. Just like out of nowhere, they vanished. They visited san a few times, but then....just stopped showing up all together.

I've been a bit broken up about this myself, however I come and visit San for mine and everyone else's sake. Sometimes when I sleep, I dream about him waking up or everything being a better outcome than on that day. He should be being praised, swarmed by fans, chicks begging for him, and all in all be awarded for taking on something so difficult and seemingly impossible! He went through hell to make up for what he did and fix everything! It just isn't right!

The girls are upset about the events as well. I knew they all had a place for him in their hearts, I mean he is pretty admirable and heroic.

The princess took it the worst, since she was the one to kiss him on the forehead with a blessing too. Had she not havedone that little trick, we probably all would be dead by now.

Rei, sailor mars, has been depressed over all this too. She's already apologized and made amends about the past and seemed to have a soft spot for san towards the end there, however, i bet she still feels guilty for jumping the gun on him in our first encounter with her.

Ami has been his personal nurse for the past months, she felt it was her calling to help save him. However, the doctors don't see a bright future for him, yet she still fights for him. They don't see a reason as to why they're pouring so many resources into a man that keeps dipping in and out of death constantly, wishing that ami would just pull the plug on him.....which is absolutely effed up.

I was at the hospital waiting room, coming in to check up on him as i usually do.

A doctor walked in with papers with a rather distraught look on his face.

"Mister Sven? " the doctor said.

"Yes! " I said standing up.

"You're a good friend of his, right? "

"Yes, what's going on? "

"Well.....I've got some bad news.... "

"Oh no..... "

"Most of the staff here, minus doctor Ami, have come to the conclusion that, if San Manfred were to fall under once more.... We will pull the plug.... "

"WHAT?! YOU'RE GONNA LET HIM DIE IF HE NEEDS RESUSCITATION?! THAT'S MESSED UP!! "

"think about his sake..... He's suffered several punctured organs, broken bones, some strange toxins, infected wounds.... Though the queen soften most of the things that ail the young man, they are still quite severe! Not to mention muscle damage, and the therapy he'll have to go through.... "

"But it's been months!"

"Sir....we deal with both the supernatural cases and the 'normal' ones....and this....this is something different. He refuses to wake up and his injuries, aside the broken bones, are healing at a terrible pace, if you want to call it healing....he's suffering. "

"Please doc, he shouldn't go out like this! He's still got things to do! Mistakes to make, parties to have, things to teach me, trouble for us to get into.... Ya can't just pull the plug on him like that, what would he want??"

"Son.... Listen to me.... Sometimes, it's best to just end their suffering, rather than them live with it.... I'm sorry, but if he flat lines once more.... He will be laid to rest..... " he bowed and exited the room.

The room felt even more quiet and empty. Pull the plug on a man struggling so hard to live? Doesn't he have any say? None of this.... None of this at all is right.... He's too young to go out like this, he's still a virgin even!

Please San, my man, please wake up.... We need ya dude.... We all do....
