Chapter 2: Grief and Ignorance *

When I stepped forward, I felt a foam cup underneath my foot. Cup of noodles?? They've been living on this crap?? I took my tail and swept the containers to the side as we got closer to Tomono and Katsumi.

Their tails were frizzy, their hair was a mess, they looked like they haven't slept in days, and they just looked pitiful and a tad creepy.

"Ey, why the lockout eh? Hikaru has been standing outside without supervision! I know she killed demons with us a few months ago, but she's still a little girl who needs attention! " I said to the pair.

Katsumi looked at me weakly, then nudged her mother.

"Just leave a poor grieving mother alone.... " tomono said.

"Hell no! You haven't been visiting san! He'll pull through, so why grieve? He needs you two, now more than ever! Sure he might not can hear you or respond to you, but maybe if you were there, he could get some color in his face!! " I shouted.

Tomono stood up, pissed off at me and glaring at me.

"I seen my baby boy leave us several times already. I was hopeful and strong the first few, but after the last few I just couldn't take it! He's suffering, it shouldn't be this way! I just wanna see his smiling face one more time! " she said.

"You can dammit! Just get out of this notion that he's dead and go! "

"I can't bear to see him in such a state again! "

"Just do it you dumbass bit-"

She then lashed out angrily and slashed my face with her nails. I was stunned for a moment and touched my face, seeing blood on my hand.

Wrong move.....

I threw a punch and nailed her in the cheek. She would then do the same and nailed my jaw bone. We would start exchanging blows over and over.

"UNCLE SVEN!! MOMMA!! STOP!! " shouted Hikaru in vain.

I'd pin tomono to the wall, trying to control her a bit, but then she'd pull a reversal and pin me instead.

"you neglect your daughter and son! You're terrible!! " i shouted.

"I love my son and daughters dearly!! I didn't even want him to fight in all that mess! I just wanted him home and happy!!" She said throwing me down and attempting to pounce on me. Thankfully, I was able to roll out of danger and get to my feet.

Her eyes were red and canine, her fangs were exposed, nails elongated, tail frizzled up, and crying. She looked like an enraged animal on all levels to be honest. I actually heard of a state inarians can go in that's highly dangerous, the feral states. If she goes too feral, she becomes a mindless monster that can't be stopped unless she's dead.

She came at me again and drove me through the wall and outside. She tried to claw at me and bite me, but I kept rolling out of the way. Suddenly hikaru ran outside and seen us scuffle.

"I SAID STOP IT STOP IT STOP IITTTTTTTTTTTT!!!! " she said screaming at the top of her lungs.

Suddenly the temperature dropped and a random snow storm blew through from hikaru's direction. I seen snow, then ice starting to form from my feet up to my neck. Tomono had the same treatment, however since she was on all fours it iced her faster.

"YOU'RE ALL DUMMIES!! STUPID!! IDIOTS!! DUMMY DUMMY DUMMY!!! WAAHHHH!!!" Hikaru cried at the top of her lungs.

Katsumi walked up to her and held her close.

"I'm sorry sis....I'm so sorry....please forgive us..." katsumi said, on the verge of sobbing.

Soon, the ice that was on us crumbled into snow. I still felt a numb and cold, but it beats being frozen stiff. Tomono flopped on her face when she thawed, then sat up in a shocked like daze. She put a hand over her mouth in shock over her own behavior.

"What..... What have I been doing??..... My.... My baby is all alone in the hospital.... One of my babies was calling me from outside..... The house is a mess-i....... I.... I smell terrible, trash everywhere.... W....what... " she said on the verge of crying.

" Tomono, you're stronger than this... Your family needs your strength.... " I said, warming up a little.

She looked at me and nodded in agreement. Thankfully she was stopped before she became any more feral and fall off the deep end.

"Thank you sven.... I needed that... Girls, I am so sorry...please forgive your foolish mother!" she said bowing to them, crying.

The girls then swarmed to her and gave her a hug, and she hugged them in return. They all cried together, like a family would.

"After we get everything in order, we'll stay by him.... "

"Aye, probably gonna have to beat up a few doctors since visitation hours are up haha. "

"Nobody will keep us from him, no one.... Oh dear your face! "

"Pfft, it's nothing! "

"You're bleeding dear! "

"It's fine, I'll wash it up or something. Y'all take care! " I said as I left the house.

Once I got closer to the village started to warm up to regular temperature, the pain started to set in bad. San was right, female vule hit like a damn train! I'm surprised I survived that mad woman's rage! Uggggghhhh I feel so beat up.....

I wasn't paying too much attention when I bumped into a woman on accident.

"O-oh! " she cried.

"I am so sorry misssssssssssss-" my brain totally shut off when I seen the gorgeous fox girl in front of me. She wore a long black dress, pearl blonde hair, and was just.... So.... Wow....

"It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance sir sven! I am Kyubi, otherwise known as the onyx witch! Pleased to meet you! " she said offering her hand and smiling..... However, I was off to dream land at that point....
