Chapter 10: twins from the future *

The figures looked around, then walked into the hospital. The outers were already readying their weapons, about to blast anyone that walked through the door. Hotaru sighed and shook her head. Apparently, the outers were really hostile and protective against strangers of any kind. Just then, we heard the elevator ding and soon after, a knock on the door.

"Hello? Is this the Manfred room? " said the male stranger.

"Go away, we seen you walk through that vortex! " said Haruka.

"Trust me, you need my help.... If you don't accept my help, bad things will happen to your timeline! So please let me in! " said the male.

"We both know how much of a bitc-" whispers the female.

"Shhhhh she can hear you! " the male whispered.

"I never liked master Haruka or Michiru though! They're so mean! " she whispered.

Just then, Michiru opened the door as the two looked at us like deer in head lights. The male regained composure rather quickly, but the female blushed  with embarrassment, until the male nudged her with his elbow. The two walked in and began to introduce their selves.

"I am hanzo mikasa, this is my sister madira mikasa. " he said, gesturing to her.

"Greetings! " she said bowing and smiling.

"Whoaaaaa wait a minute, that's the same names as-" katsumi said before hanzo spoke.

"Yes, we're your children from the future.... A.... Er.... War torn future... " he said looking down.

"Bad things will happen, unless we fix them before they happen! I don't want my fiance to die in the future! " midora said, as a tear fell.

"Calm down sis..... Anyway, it all starts when queen serenity surrenders and when the pirates leave, Ratten will invade with heavy artillery. Killing her and everyone else, one by one. Without resources or defenses, earth becomes a sitting duck for her. " he said.

I was confused about who this rattan girl is, but as soon as he said that name, katsumi and Tamono became awfully pale.

"Before you go any further, we're talking about the same rattan right? The one that attacked us with a viral outbreak, almost killed us all, forcing us to flee to earth and other planets to survive. That ratten right?? " Tamono said, with an angry, but shakey voice.

"Yes grandmother..... That ratten." He said, nodding.

Tamono was taken aback by this, as if she were having a PTSD episode. So was Katsumi, but several times worse for her. Soon, Tamono recovered, but katsumi sat there in a trance of trauma.

"Tch, you can't be seriously buying this! I mean, yea we've seen time travel before and have used it several times. However, they don't have time keys, nor has Pluto given them the OK to do so!" said haruka.

"Our race is highly advanced, technological wise. We had touch screen, wireless phones while you had those cursed plastic, wired phones. It wouldn't be surprising that we made a time machine of sorts, out of desperation to fix what went wrong...." Said Tamono, haruka huffed and crossed her arms.

"Well, why didn't you share said phone technology?? " she said.

"Your race isn't too welcoming to new races or change.... " tamono stated.

Again, haruka huffed and looked out the window. Pouting like a kid.

"The main reason why we went to war with rattan, is because y'all didn't have anti space defenses or artillery. So we've come with blue prints on data chips, and what we have left to spare...." He said as portals opened up outside.

Tank like vehicles rolled out of the portals and drove out for a bit, before parking. I didn't bother counting because it was the coolest thing since snow storms. They were tannish brown, had the sailor guardian insignia on the side, and had dual treads on them. They looked friggin cool, I felt as though they'd transform into robots any moment now! My inner kid wanted to drive one.

"Aw sweet! We have a small army of tanks!" I said, with my face pressed against the window.

"Ehhhhhhhh sorta. Those were automated to come out here from the other side of the rift. They have to be piloted..... Which means y'all will have to take a crash course on how to operate one.... " hanzo said, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Even better! " I said with excitement.

"What is on the other side mister hanzo? " said Hotaru.

"......the version of earth, that's been torn to pieces by war and destruction. I'm kept alive through cybernetic implants. My lung was shot by a laser rifle, so I have artificial lungs. My left leg, blown off by a mine someone detonated. So, I have an artificial leg... And there are other implants, but we'd be here all day.... " he said.

"But you look normal... " I said, turning around and looking him over for anything that stuck out as artificial.

"Inarian technology, came a long way by the time this all happened. A lot of people were saved by it, well temporarily..... Whoever was able to spring back and recover, was told to get back on the field. Men, women, teens, pre teens..... Anyone that can hold a gun, had to fight the invasion. See, she thought she could just plague the earth, like she did planet Inari. However, the implants and tech we had countered her virus. So, she decided to fall back on automatons and mechs..... Which are what those tanks out there, are built after.... " He said, gesturing out the window.

"So... You stole the blueprints and the tanks?! " said Katsumi.

"Yep.... Even gave her the finger as we drove away.... " he said.

".....that's my boy.... " Katsumi said, being a proud parent.

"Oi, I hacked and downloaded the map to her base on earth so we could, WE COULD,  steal the tanks! " Madori said, poking Hanzo in the chest.

"Well..... Er.... Sorry.... " he said.

"You're both so brave, I'm proud of both of you.... " Katsumi said as she walked up and hugged them. This moment would be short lived however, because we need to act soon......
