Over the week, everyone has been working diligently as usual, and no one has been coming to work late, except for one. Y/N noticed how Seonghyeon has been coming late to his desk for the past few days, and Y/N could not help but feel concerned about him.

It was unusual behavior for Seonghyeon to be late, in fact, at times he would come earlier than Y/N.

Today is no exception. Seonghyeon is late again, but this time Y/N is moving to ask someone about his conditions.

He walked out of his desk to one of his employees. With a coffee in his left hand, he leaned on the desk with the freehand supporting his weight. He took a sip before speaking.

"Jooheon-ah." He called.

"Yes, sir?"

"Is there something wrong with Seonghyeon?"

"Is there something wrong with him?" Jooheon asked back.

"You see, he has been coming late for the past few days. Don't you think that is about unusual?" Y/N replied while massaging his temple.

Jooheon took his time to recall the events he saw before giving him an intriguing response.

"From what I see, he is looking after a girl from another department." Jooheon replied, piquing his curiosity.

He leaned his head slightly closer and squinted his eyes as he waits for Jooheon to say more.

"Continue." He ordered.

"Uhm... I often see him going around carrying a paper bag full of food. Ah, I think those are bread in it."

"Bread?"

"Yes. He always goes somewhere with those bread, and I think he likes a girl from the other department."

"From my fiancee's department?"

"Yes, sir."

"Hmm..."

"Is there something wrong with that, sir?"

"There is nothing wrong with him liking someone. I just hope he is taking his job professionally and not coming late to work." Y/N glared back at him before replying.

"I see."

Y/N shook his head as he fixed his posture and sighed a long one to clear his head.

"Thank you, Jooheon ssi. Tell me if there is more news about him."

"Yes, sir."

Y/N goes back to his seat and glances at Yena briefly.

As things are becoming bleaker and bleaker between Minju and him, Y/N couldn't help but bite his nails, sustaining his curiosity.

At the moment, Seonghyeon is not in the room, and he couldn't wait anymore, so he called Yena from his desk.

"Yes, sir?" She raised her head from the monitor.

"I need you to do something."

"What can I do for you, sir?" She stood up from her seat and walked closer to his desk.

"You noticed how Seonghyeon has been acting weird these days, right?"

"Yes, sir. Is there anything I have to do with that?" Yena tilted her head to the side.

"There is. I heard that he is after a girl from the other department, and I want you to investigate his actions. Follow Seonghyeon and report to me what you see." He glared into her eyes. Yena gulped a couple of times before sorting her speech out.
